Good Morning Cruisers!

Happy Thursday!

I can't wait for the weekend to get her. The next two days are going to be bad at work! Bear with me if I don't get the newsletter up as fast this month.

Well off to read the boards and then off to work I go!

We have our next cruise planned for October 2005 but we're waiting to book it until we are on board. As for 2006 - hopefully that will be the year we finally get to Hawaii.

We were going to do it this year - then the 10 day came up.

We were going to do it next year with a cruise on NCL (4 day cruise/3 day land), but the ship got delayed by sinking in a storm while being built.

So maybe by 2006 everything will be in place and we can do it!

Good Morning everyone. Happy Thursday. The children are still sleeping so I had time to say hello.

Diana, I sent you an e mail.

Mary, sent you an e mail as well.

Karen, your idea sounds great. I would love someone to e mail with to loose this weight. I will pm you today. I will need your e mail address. I love to shop. Virgil's wife and I would get along great. I can shop for hours, But not until this weight is off!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know for a fact that the studio where DD goes for dance will not change their recitial dates which are always the first week in June. Her dance studio has 900 children. Her Theatre and singing one is always the first or second week in June which is very crazy here for us. Oh and I forgot Piano which is the end of May. I would like to do the end of June but it would depend on DH work. Summer is the busiest time up north for the contractors. We will book something while on the ship, but I am not sure of the date.

I just got DD up and she fell back to sleep!!!!!!!!!!!!! She stays up to watch "Full House" at night and than she can't get up!!!!!

Ahhh, now I know why Land's End doesn't have slims for her! They are in the big girls section, and she's still a little girl! Don't despair too badly. DD was just the same. She was about 55 pounds at the same age, and she stuck there for nearly 2 years. She broke 60 pounds Christmas of 2002 when she was almost 11. But she's gained steadily since then. She just now broke 100 pounds, and she's about 5'2" tall.

At that age/size, my DD was wearing lots and lots of leggings. I think they are out of style now though. I think I found a bunch of 7 slims at Kohl's. Have you tried there? Or the Penney's catalog (or on-line?)

Now to the regular morning update. I decided that since I never remember what I'm going to say, I would just quote and reply when I saw something that tickled my fancy!

Haven't heard anything from that "really interested buyer". Oh well, a sale after 3 days was probably a little unrealistic!

DD had girl scouts last night. These girls really are a good group. They have very similar interests and are very motivated to be here. They are planning an induction/rededication/Halloween costume gala for the juniors and another daisy troop. Very cute to see them coming up with activities. And they definitely want to take a whitewater rafting trip. They have decided that it needs to be in warmer weather, so we've just put it on the back burner for now. Lots of things to do before May!

We also are Jimmy Buffett fans. The kids know every song but one on the greatest hits CD. Whenever "Let's get drunk and...." comes on, I hit the skip button pretty quick! DS used to pick Come Monday as a karaoke favorite. If it wasn't that, it was Signs. Now that they are older, they have their own taste in music, but it was great to have them singing along with all our favorites!

Love that place. Well, today is my Friday. Leave this afternoon for Boise, I can hear the Disney Store calling me already. Maybe I could hit the mall tonight as we drive by on way to mom's house from airport? Hm.....good thought.

Hope Stacey is hitting it big in Vegas. When she wins the BIG JACKPOT she can pay off the balance on all of our cruises. I mean..what else could she possibly want to do with all that money?

Okay, got to get focused and get some work done.

Sounds like my dh. He does the same thing. You should see him TRY to peel potatoes. He uses the whole "rule" to cut away from yourself. Doesn't work very well.

My grandmother used to dunk her chips in ketchup, and my mom dunks her french frys in ketchup and then dunks them in vanilla creemee (or is it soft serve to most of you?).

Had to go to the website and check out when our CIP was supposed to open..... December '04. And, they're putting one in 15 minutes from us in the 4th quarter of 2005. Can one wait that long for a cheeseburger?
