So Gail has sent me the name and FAX number for the lady we need to contact about sitting together at second seating. That means I need to hear from people that want to be part of the party. gaRry - no one has laid claim to 7000, 8000 or 9000. I figured once we hit 10,000 we would all just stop posting. Even if we are weeks or months away from the cruise.

Good Morning everyone!

Cloudy and overcast here today.
Hope its better tomorrow. We are going to Paramount Kings Dominion (local theme park) with DS's soccer team. Anyone in the area been there? I hear I will hate it being a frequent WDW visitor. We have lived here 5 years and have managed to stay away. The kids are looking forward to it though and since we aren't making it to WDW this summer I guess it will have to do. I will let you know my opinion on Friday.

Gail, Thanks for all your hard work organizing the brunch.

Knowing plans are already being made makes this crusie finally seem real. We are close to making our finaly payment. Does anyone know if after that I can start paying on shipboard credit?I would like to have as much pre-paid as possible. I know it can sure add up fast.

Morning all. I could take 9,999. That's a good number. I had 4444 or was it 5555 and I remember it was stolen from me as I patiently waited for hours to get that magical number.

We are in Boise (The City of Trees), Idaho til Sunday. Getting ready for the parent's 50th anniv. party Friday night. Only 12 people here at the house last night staying. By Thurs. night it is up to 25. That is when my sis and I are moving to the hotel. We figure we would like a hot shower and a little privacy. I am now waiting for the shower. I'll be lucky if there is hot water by the time I get in. I'd probably be warmer with the sun and the hose!

Thanks Gail for doing all the work on the brunch. It is going to be so much fun.

On our dinner stuff we are still waiting for DH and I to get moved from late to main seating. When we moved our ressie at 11 months out from cash to DVC they could keep us in the same stateroom, do everything except keep us on the main seating cuz it was "FULL". So 3 of us are on late and the other 10 on main. Hopefully we will get this worked out. The grandkids aren't late seaters. Well, they could be, but I hate to have them asleep in their food.

Okay, I am going to see if I can get ready for the day! Have a good one.

Good morning everyone!

Just checking in... Diana reminded me that I have not been posting lately....but it's not because I do not LOVE you all... but because we have been spending a lot of time working up at the new townhouse in Orlando... and there is no computer access up there.... yet....
Tried to get a cable to hook my cell phone up to the lap top but that was a miserable failure! I am way too technologically challenged to figure it out.. and they said it would be so easy. The software does not want to recognize that my phone is hooked up so I give up!
Will anyone else on the cruise be running in the Disney Marathon 10 days after we get back?? Are we nuts?? YES!

This is our experience....we used to get annual passes (well, in Ohio they are SEASON passes) to Paramount's King's Island in Cinci. I believe we got these for 3 or 4 years. We loved the place. We went every chance we got. Kids loved it too. On the last year, we bought our passes pre-season, then went to WDW in May. Came back and started our summer trips to KI. BLECH! It wasn't Disney. Only then did we start to notice the litter, the stench of garbage here and there, the fact that all workers didn't speak English, and just the general disrepair. I think we used our passes twice that year (just so we didn't lose money) and we haven't been back since. That was the summer of 2000! This year we got some free passes so we may attempt it again, esp since the kids can now ride the big rides.

It'll be fun. Just go in there with the expectation that it's not Disney and you won't be disappointed!

I actually have been up for hours.....just busy. Today is Jared's birthday...11....now both the kids are the age they'll be at cruise time...yippee! I hate it when you have to say DD(14 at cruise time). Just too lazy to type that much!

Other than birthday stuff, not much going on. (yeah, right)

I guess there is that little thing called work.

I sure was disappointed... I went to the local PO and they didn't have any of the Disney Stamps!!! They looked at me like they didn't know what I was talking about... then one looked at a poster on the back wall and said .. Oh Yeah.. I think they are only selling them in Orlando


Let me tell you how much I HATE our PO!! (Please no flames.. I used to WORK for the PO)

I think I will go to USPS.com and order them right now!!

Last time I tried to get a new release stamp from usps.com they weren't there on the day of release, but they did show up the next day. So don't worry if they aren't there now. I was surprised the other day when I was able to order them pre-order. I haven't seen that before. Oh, if ohiomickey ever finds out how much I spent on stamps!!! (If he does I'll have to remind him how much he spent on an iPod!) thanks,

Hi everyone!!

Sorry I haven't been able to post much lately. I thought it would get better once Vanessa was driving but I think I am on the road just as much if not more than before.

Looking forward to time at WDW in August. I usually send GarRy with the kids and I stay home for a vacation of my own (just work but no one here after so I have no running and the pool to myself) lol

Hope everyone is having a good week at work. No reporting for jury duty this week the trial that we were supposed to go in for was postponed so I had a rather quiet day at work.

Will try to check in more often. Can't fall short of GarRy's goal now can we?

I asked at the local PO today and they told me they won't get them in until sometime mid to late July.
You can pre-order any stamps from USPS.com up to 2 weeks before release date. Off to place my order now.

Hi guys!
Long day. Jared had a nice birthday. He thinks I'm some kind of genius....he got a whole ton of the 100 Mickeys pins he collects.
Hopefully, he'll never know about e-Bay!
I made him a giant chocolate chip cookie and decorated it. He's not big on cake. That was fun. I remembered how to turn on the oven without using the instruction manual. Looking back on it, I wish I'd thought to make it Mickey shaped!!

Finished the paperwork I had to do for Jay's family members. That's a relief.

Anyway, we just finished a rousing (not) game of Disney Monopoly, and I'm beat. So off I go.

Vicki...we're glad you're going to come to WDW this time!! It will be great to meet you. DH reports for Grand Jury tomorrow. Every Tues & Thurs for four months. They were told to be prepared. I guess things can get pretty gory sometimes.

Anyway...heading for bed. Good night all!

I'm not a Monopoly fan, but I received "Theme Park Monopoly" for Mother's Day and it's a lot more fun. You wouldn't believe the cut throat attitude as ppl try to snag the prime real estate (i.e. the Wonder, the Magic, the monorail, etc)
