Hi! Made it home in one piece. I actually surprised myself (and everyone else) by hitting the ball every time I was at bat. I didn't always make it to 1st before getting thrown out....but I did okay. And no broken bones. The muscle soreness will hit tomorrow, for sure.
DS was hitting 70 mph balls when we left him.

Totally wiped out....am going to bed.

I've got the in-laws coming over tonight so need to clean and do the usual weekend stuff (laundry etc.).

Morning all! Thought I better check in so I don't get called into the principal's office!

Busy weekend ahead. DD (Jamie-12) she has a dance/singing performance at noon today for some kid's carnival out in one of our suburbs. The group she dances/sings with consists of 20 kids that are between 10-13 years of age, half girls, half boys. The show is about 30 minutes, they do a section from Grease (the kids fav), 70's stuff, and a great swing section (for all us old timers). ANyway, quite energetic and fun.

So, guess I better go shower and get dressed. Have a great Sat. everyone.

Linda, that's the kind of dancing I would love to see! Sounds like fun.

27 weeks....doesn't sound so bad when you put it that way. How much weight can I lose in 27 weeks???
I do need to at least get back to the gym, I feel like the walking wounded today. Muscles hurt where I didn't know I had muscles.

Taking DD#1 to return some clothes that I had gotten her...Miss Picky....#2 Jordan the teen who you would think would hate anything I picked out prefers for me to buy her clothes and bring them to her, she hates to shop. But #1...the adult...who should be buying her own clothes...is picky! Go figure.

Yet another practice game for the boy tonight.....we do get Sunday off.

I need to get a second job. I obviously have way too much time on my hands on the weekends.

You need to know (as if you weren't smart enough to figure this one out on your own a loooong time ago) that I am a truly insane person!!

I have several different cosmetics bags for travel.....not just for makeup, but all the hair stuff, toothbrushes, meds, bandaids...all that.
I have different ones for different trips. Short trips, long trips, with kids, without.
Well, they were a mess. I kept taking things out of one, back into another. Being an insane person, this was bugging me.
I emptied them all onto the dining room table.
Now I have to re-organize all of them. What a pain in the patootskie!
Is there a reason I can't just pack a bag when I'm getting ready to go somewhere? Is there ever going to be a time that all of a sudden, I need to grab a bag and run? (Well, maybe, if DH decides he can't put up with me any longer).
I mean...this is downright stupid.

I either need a second job or a shrink.
Does any one have any recommendations?

As a matter of fact, I started riding horses as a kid and still do every once in a while....come to think of it, I still know quite a few horses...***, too.

I was thinking I could do a pound a week.......that would put me right about where I need to be, too!
How about 27 Mickey Bars??? LOL

DH was watching The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance today, and I laughed every time John Wayne said "Pilgrim"...which was every time he spoke to someone.

And I think I've met a few of those horses *#% myself!!
Not here though!

HEY......I was trying to eliminate the c*#p!
All I really did was rearrange it!!! LOL

And besides, someone has to be responsible. I wish I could be the one who only puts the suitcases in the car and says "Let's go". Don't get me started, Mister!
