Saw us slipping down the page so I thought I would give us a little bump.

Well, I'm very proud of myself, I didn't do any re-organizing today. I did something even more stupid.
I took all 3 of my kids (yes, even the 22 yr old) to the mall.

Now I know I'm nuts!

It was supposed to be just me and the oldest. Then the other two wanted to go. Well, the girls got clothes, the boy wanted video games. No deal on the games, his birthday is only ten days away. That's when the pouting and fighting began.

On the way home, they kept wanting to stop at other places. I just kept driving faster.
Almost hit a covey of quail while going down our road......the kids wanted to know why I was going so fast & trying to kill little birds.
Just trying to get home, so that I could beat them in private, and not get arrested.

Diana is right, we leave Vegas on the 12th. Cindy are you sure you can't come a few day earlier? We would love to meet you.

Not only will they come home, they'll bring their laundry, and their boyfriends, and their boyfriend's laundry.
Then someday they'll get married, and come home, and bring their kids.......it will never end.
Isn't that something to look forward to?????????

That's why DH & I plan on moving to an island somewhere in the middle of nowhere once ours are gone. Ha...by that time we'll be too old to move!

I really had kind of a lazy weekend and didn't do as much as I wanted to do. Oh well - there is always tomorrow (I hope)!

No can do on coming to Vegas earlier. DH and I are joining another couple in a quick gambling jaunt. We're leaving Ft. Lauderdale Thursday evening getting into Vegas @11:30 and then taking the redeye home Sunday night. I wish we could meet up - I'm now thinking about the meet at The Adventurer's Club in August - I think someone mentioned that!

That's GREAT news!!! I have one on my arm (the arm that hangs out the car window all day long) that I'm having looked at on the 22nd......have a funny feeling the Doc will do mine right then & there also! He used to be a surgeon, so he loves doing little things in his office!

ohiomickey warned me. told me those surgeons love to cut and it'd be a nice break in his day to actually do some cutting rather than seeing follow up appointments. now i'm trying to talk ohiomickey into taking out the stitches here so i don't have to drive into the doc's office.

Cindy, that was me! We're going the evening of Aug. 8. If you need an excuse for an extra trip to WDW, feel free to use this one! Adventurer's Club is a blast, and I am taking my 13 year old if anyone is wondering about taking their teens. She's been before, and she didn't hear anything she hasn't heard on TV.

I will definitely try to make it. That's a crazy time of year for us. Our school starts on Aug. 11. We've been known to take off for DisneyWorld at the spur of the moment - I could just spring it on everyone at the last minute! Keep me posted.
