$200 disney rewards credit card offer

You applied for the Disney Visa that offered $200 Disney Rewards?

You make a purchase (for whatever amount) and then on your first billing your rewards show up. You then call and request The card.

That wasnt how it worked when we got my wife a card via the $100 offer 6 months or so ago.

They sent an actual Disney Giftcard for $100 to her. It wasnt 100 rewards pts added to her account that we then had to transfer to a Disney Visa Rewards card.

If anyone has gotten the card, how long does it take to receive the card so that you can make your first purchase? Can you use the new CC number to purchase something online without having the actual card in front of you yet (you know to speed up the process of receiving your $200 Disney reward card)? Any thoughts on this would be appreciated b/c I have the offer but our trip is getting pretty close and I don't want to do it if I can't get it in time.

I got my card pretty quickly BUT don't forget, the rewards only get applied after your first billing cycle. So I got my card at the end of February and I was JUST able to request my rewards because they finally showed up on my statement.

oh no!! That's not sounding good for us for June. Oh well, we'll use them on the next trip if we don't get them in time for this trip.

For anyone thats been trying to get the $200 gift card offer that hasn't been sent anything in the mail, this is the response I got from Chase in regards to trying to get one. Hope this helps:

I have reviewed your request and have found that the offer
you are referring to was sent directly from Disney. I do
not have a code to give you. Disney offers different
premiums all the time. You can check at
www.chase.com/creditcards under rewards or at the
www.disneyrewards.com site. The Disney Stores have
different offers or a Disney Park.

Once your girlfriend applies and receives her card in the
mail, if she gets a better offer within 90 days of the
time the account opens, she can e-mail us and we will be
happy to match the better offer.

My husband got this offer in the mail a few weeks ago. Got the 200 gc yesterday in the mail It will pay for the xmas party while we are there in November. I am hoping to get the offer soon in the mail as well.

Was this sent directly to your husband or to the family name? Others have reported both husband and wife using the same offer to apply for cards.

Of course after I sign up and get approved for the $100 gift card offer, I get in the mial yesterday one for $150.

I signed up for the $150 rewards offer last month. Yesterday we received the $200 gift card offer in the mail addressed to our family.

I called Chase to see if I could get $50 more since I received a better offer. They suggested I apply in my husband's name. I thought I could not do that since he is a signer on my card. They said he could apply for his own card. I filled out his application on the internet using the $200 offer code and he was accepted. Now we wil have $350 for our Dec. trip paying dining OOP.

Got the offer under xxxx family. Of course me and DH has different last names so when I called they were able to change it so I could apply. I did it was approved right away now we have $200 towards our next trip !

You are so lucky you got this offer!!! My husband got it several months back and signed up without me knowing about it. Had I known he got it I would have applied too. Since then he has canceled his. I'm hoping they send me an offer.

We just got this in the mail but it says we have to put something on the card and pay for it BEFORE we get the $200 gift card.....anyone done this already and how long did it take to get the GC? I was approved over the phone so should hopefully have the card soon.

We have gotten one offer in the mail for each of the last four months. I already had a card, but my wife applied and got the $200!

I just noticed while reading through this thread that if it has been 90 days or less they will match the price. I would call back and see about getting that other $50! See bolded part above.

Does anyone have the code for the offer??? It must be on EVERY mailing that everyone has said they have gotten. It's not name specific because my husband called today and said his friend received a $200 offer in the mail. The guy didn't say anything about it being for only the person on the mailing. You just need to give them the 4 digit offer code (looks like it's under the invitation number). I can't believe it's impossible to find this online! I found the 4 digit code for $100 gc but would love to do $200 if possible!

I only read the first 2 pages but want to say I don't think the offer only applies to the folks who received the ad. I applied for a Southwest CC (also Chase) using a 2 year old link I found on the web....I am not kidding. I actually read about this great deal here on the DIS then found a link to the application site elsewhere. I was approved and got the whole deal...free flight, one year no fee, and a $500 Southwest GC.

I'm sure anyone interested can do a little internet research and find a link, if no one is willing to post theirs.
