$200 disney rewards credit card offer

I already have a disney visa but signed DH up last month for the DVC 100 reward gift card and it came quickly. I charged one thing and before my statement even showed up at months end the 100.00 gift card was here. And no we are not DVC members

In case anyone is looking for the link, here it is:

$100 Statement Credit offer
$100 Disney Gift Card offer

After you get it, you can call and mention the $200 deal and ask for the $100 difference to be added to your account/new gift card issued. YMMV.

My husband got a pre-approved offer in the mail today with the $200 gift card offer. It's still out there if you are lucky enough to get it.

We received the "family" offer for the $200 gift card. My mother might go with us on our next trip, does anyone know if I can use the same invitation number for myself then let her use it as well?:confused3

We received the $200 Disney Gift Card/Disney Visa offer about a month ago which was address to our "family". We already have a Disney Visa card - I'm the primary cardholder and DH is an authorized user. Using the invitation code DH opened an account where he is primary and I am an authorized user. We got the card in the mail less than week after applying and have already used it once to get the $200 Disney Gift Card. Hopefully we'll have the GC in 4-6 weeks. We plan to use during our WDW trip this October. :thumbsup2 (Oh, and we are not DVC members)

Our scenario was exactly like yours and we received the GC in probably 2 weeks max from using our card. I was actually super impressed that I didn't have to request it, they sent it before I even had time to make sure it would come before our vacation in September!

I tried to get a second card in just my name and wasn't able to do it. The offer we received was for new cardholders it said.

Just got my cards on 7/22 and made my first purchase on the same day. We just received our $200 gift card today 8/5. :yay:

Leaving for WDW in 3 weeks. Very happy for the fast turn around.

Anyone know if this is still active. I have the card and would sign up my wife for the card also. I called Chase and asked them to send my wife one and they said, just get the code from someone and you can use it. i asked if it could be used more than once, they said definitely.

That was my next question, I was hoping I could have the code also (and then I could sign up my 4&4 year olds :)

I haven't seen this offered for a year, but it would be great. I could use a $200 gift card too!

Just got my offer today, but the card has a $49 annual fee. Does anyone know when one has to pay the annual fee? Is it immediately or after a year? I don't use credit cards, but I'd do it for the $200 and then just cancel.
Can I cancel and avoid the $49 annual fee?

Thanks

Depends how your offer was worded. A LOT of cards give you the first year no fee and then on the one year anniversary you get a 49.00 charge. However if this is the case you still have 90 days AFTER that 49 hits to ask for it to reimbursed and yes you keep the 200. I did this with my chase SW miles card.

I've read the accompanying material and it just says, $49 annual fee with nothing else as far as what you wrote. Do I have to call? Thanks

It wont be stated the 90 day refund part. That is some type of law for the refund so they don;t advertise it as being refundable but it is. Yes I would call and ask if the 49 is now or later.

I decided not to go with the credit card offer. I know it is free disney money, even if I did get charged the annual fee, but this discussion reminded me how much I hate credit card companies with all their fine print nebulousness.
