Girls are watching Mary Poppins. Avery really likes it, Cayley not so much.

Went shopping at Gymboree to use my Gym buck and here is a part of what I got

I think Cayley is getting a cold. She is snotty and a major grump today....:scared1:I got the 2nd suitcase out of the garage-still had our DCL tags on it.

Happy friday!

Awww! I hope Cayley feels better soon.

I love the Gymboree outfits. I hope Emily has a little sister someday so I can buy them cute tees like that!!

Cute pic of the girls! It's funny how their features are so different! I suspect our next kid will probably have dark hair and eyes like Mike and be the total opposite of Emily's blonde hair and blue eyes!

CUTE outfits!! I just LOVE Gymboree!! And I hope Cayley feels better quickly. It's not fun having a sick kiddo. Your girls are just ADORABLE!!! 15 days!! Whoo hoo!! :cheer2:

Vent all you want. It is a hard decision. Cayley is a Sep 1 bday-the cutoff here in Az. Whether I send her I think will be based on maturity vs academics. I feel you can supplement the academics at home but not the "growing up" Do they have transitional kindergarten where you are? It is a program that does K like things and at the end you can either send them to K or if they are ready 1st grade. My friend was looking at it for her son but it was pretty expensive. My 2 cents is you know him best and another year to be a kid is a good thing in my book.

Unfortunately we don't have a transitional kindergarten here :sad2:. That would be such a good option for us too :goodvibes. it wouldn't really matter on cost if it were available. I think he needs a more academic preschool program at the very least. The public school Kaylee attends requires them to do Kindergarten before first grade. The preschools even make you sign a waiver making sure your aware of the laws. I'm sure it will work out, but yesterday I was feeling bad about not sending him. I'm so back & forth on this.

Anyway I love the girls Gymboree outfits! Hope Cayley feels better soon :goodvibes.

That is to bad about no TK. Try not to be hard on yourself. Hopefully she will be better soon.

Thanks about her name, it was the only one we agreed on. I wanted Ainsley. I spelled it funky though and not the traditional way.

Dallas will love the fact that you have non girlie ones. He is all boy.

Go me, guess that means I spend a little to much time here....WHooo Hooo for 15 days!!:cool1::cool1::cool1:

Just thought I'd check in on all the excitement over here.
I can feel it all the way from your house to my house!

The sister outfits are cute. We'll have to check those out for Brooklynn and Bella.

I've kind of glanced through the school talk, too. I'm a 3rd grade teacher, and we have been forced to make kids grow up too fast, in my opinion. The curriculum gets progressively more involved, and it will continue to do so. We've been told that a lot of the Math skills are moving down from 3rd to 2nd next year, so it will be even more difficult. As a mother of three and a teacher of hundreds, I would (and did with my two sons) not hesitate to hold them back rather than send them on. I have had many parents tell me they wished they had given their children an extra year. I know every situation is different, but if anyone is on the fence, I just thought I'd share that as food for thought.

It's the weekend, though, and I'd rather not think about school at all.
I want to think about the Disney party we're having today! :goodvibes
Have a good weekend as you continue your planning and countdown!
