2 Days in December

Hi,
I'll be in the world for the first time during the holiday season for only 2 days. Please tell me what's not to be missed. It will be adults only (but really who's adult at WDW). For the christmas party can you go with the extra ticket if you haven't been to the park earlier that day (do you need a regular admission ticket in addition to the party ticket?)
Also is there great things to see at Epcot and MGM? How about the resorts, any outstanding for the holidays?

I haven't been to MVMCP for a couple of years, but if I recall correctly, all you need is your MVMCP ticket. It is a separate ticketed event.

Before the MVMCP you might check the WL and GF for Christmas decorations. At MGM the Osborne lights are neat and the Candlelight Processional at Epcot is worthwhile.
