2~2~12* Dream a Little Dream With Us!

Our deck 10 stateroom is more forward, looks to be directly under Senses and not the pool area. The reviews were good, very little noise from above.

And I agree, its 3 days. We have never cruised before. I'm happy to have the verandah at a rate as low as we got (FL Resident discount). I don't think the overhang is going to ruin my view of miles and miles of the ocean. If I want to look at the stars I can go up one flight and hang out on deck 11...

Getting excited and nervous and feel SO ill-prepared!

Ours is midship, just about 2 doors down from the elevator. It's right underneath Flo's and all of those other quick service places. We couldn't pass up the FL Resident discount either. This will be an interesting cruise! :rotfl2:

Got my cruise booklet/packet and luggage tags today!

My friend who cruised in May asked if they were paper or hard plastic. Do they send hard plastic ones as well? What I got are bright colored airline type sticky tags. And we're not flying.

I guess Disney hasn't really caught on to the back-to-back concept though, since they included luggage tags in our packet, and we won't be needing those for this 2nd half of the b-t-b!

I need your help with my upcoming hooneymoon cruise please tell me some good info about the 12 deck suites. Thanks Mike

Congrats on getting the packet! A sigh of relief and a big WOOHOO that it's almost here!

As for the hard plastic luggage tags, perhaps your friend is thinking of the ones you get with your WDW package. If memory serves, WDW packets come with two (2) of those traditional luggage tags in addition to the ME luggage tags. Those are the kind you can put your name and contact info on and use again and again. The DCL packet is much different than the WDW packet.

Are you already booked on Deck 12 for this cruise? This is a cruise meet thread. There are numerous threads on the Dis about the Concierge decks and rooms/suites. ;)

hoping some of you cruise veterans know the answer:

Is it possible to cancel/change our excursions this late in the game? We have the extreme getaway booked but I think we want to drop the stingray encounter and just do the other 3 things ala carte (and maybe even pass the snorkeling--DH is a cold water wimp!). If we go next spring with the girls we could do the stingrays then, and it would be a new experience for us all.

But is this even possible or are we stuck with what we have?

You should be able to cancel or change them now online. My experience is they close it out on line just before the cruise. You definitely cannot do it on the ship. They make you pay if you do it then.

Just got home from Aulani and we fund it easier to unpack, wash and just repack for the cruise. We have a problem. Lol.

Apparently someone released their Cabana today and we managed to snag it! :cool1::yay: Thank goodness we were paying attention to the Castaway Cay excursions page. Can't wait! Still waiting for our welcome aboard packet to come. Any day now...

31 days and counting!

Happy New Year everyone!

Glad you got the cabana! Which is why we posted when we were going to let go of Cabana #5 to give anyone on here first shot.

Did you cancel? I can tell you from personal experience, they don't let you cancel no the ship. We tried that in January when they changed up our itinerary and we wanted to change our excursions.

From DCL website: "All Port Adventures are subject to availability and/or cancellation based on weather, itinerary changes, and attendance. Children under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult on Port Adventures except for specific "teen only" Port Adventures. All prices are subject to change without notice. Cancellations can be made up to 3 days prior to the cruise departure date. After that time all reservations are final and non-refundable."

Does anyone on here still want to give up their cabana on serenity bay? If so, please PM me.
