I have one add on that was late. I will have to update when I get home, my kids all choose this week to get high fevers and coughs. Better now than next week!

Being that we live on the eastern shore of Mobile Bay and Mobile is the official home of Mardi Gras , you will all be getting Mardi Gras Treats from us! Anyone have an allergy to banana moon pies? I can omit one if needed. Thanks!

Sounds great. I'd have to see and ingredient list but I'm sure someone in my cabin will eat them..eh hem DH!

I have a17 DS and 18 DS GF. She's a senior and he's a junior in high school so I'd think a keepsake is good and really anything except alcohol for them. Lol. Although they would think shot glasses would be cool. My kiddos are pretty mature so anything for them. DS is a fireman if that helps and DS GF owns & rides horses but she's a girly girl.

Gonna be Aton of firefighters on this trip! DH and I both are and are both emts

Hey there everyone,

I'm hopeful that I have a good idea about what the whole FE concept is all about. From what I have looked at there seems to be a split on what is generally accepted as "good" trade items, and what is not.

I have made a few handmade items, that have no Disney design/motif to them at all - is this a generally OK thing to do? The kid stuff is mostly Disney related, but for the adults I went with what I know best, Coffee

I hope this is alright with everyone??

Ok, who's decorating their doors? I thought it was just for those of you who are doing FE's but NO, anyone can do it! I love it! Now I have to come up with some fun ideas. Anyone have some to share? What are you putting on your doors?

We have a ton of magnets. There is a thread on the main board. The lady "Milliepie" makes some amazing ones that you can print laminate and enjoy. That's where I got most of mine.

Thanks! Dylan is going back to school tomorrow (thank god!) and Jayden needs to get rid of the fever and cough. Their pediatrician is going to call me personally tonight, she knows we are going away and told me she would take care of us so we could still cruise. I'm sure they will be rid of it by then but I want to be absolutely sure of it.

We are making 2 or 3 magnets to give out together with our FE gifts to each participant.
Just took them today to Stapels to laminate the photo papers and then we will glue the magnet sheets.

Even those that choose not to decorate their doors can use them at home on the fridge door or something....

We had a couple sick boys this weekend in Boston. Fortunately not the flu which has hit hard around here. I know how you feel... "Please, please, please don't be sick in February! " (At least until we get back!)

Is anyone else traveling in from Boston for the Feb 11 cruise out of Miami? We're on the 5 am flight out that Monday to Miami. I know, I know, we're cutting it close. We booked our own tickets (so Disney won't delay the boat for us) but we did buy the insurance -)). Keeping fingers crossed on no weather delays but will monitor closely.

Does anyone recommend a low cost shuttle from the airport to the Port? We have 6 people in our group so that is either two taxis or one big shuttle.

I look forward to meeting a lot of you in under two weeks!
