***1st Week of December Thread ADR Plans, Park Hours, and dealing with Pop Warner***

Ok, I'm going to be dropping a CP Dining Package reservation. It's for 12/7, 2 people, 5pm at Teppan Edo for the 8:15pm CP show. Let me know if you're interested, before I post it on the Cancellations Thread.

I just read this on another thread, maybe everyone knows already but I found it interesting: If you have a Chase Visa you can get into some special viewing are for Illuminations at Epcot. It's in Italy near Isola west across from the wine shop. I ended up cancelling our Illuminations dessert party so it't nice to know there is a chase perk.
That sounds good...I will check to be sure I have my chase card with me.

I know I'm not the only one, but I cannot concentrate on anything at work today! My brain is ready for Disney!!

How is everybody's week shaping up getting ready to go?

We've just got to pick up some breakfast snackies and groceries for our house sitter on Thursday, and at some point this week, I need to go to the bank and get a little bit of cash and some quarters for tolls and pressed pennies. Not much left to do now except pack!

There is still time to change! it is a 60% chance right now and I don't think it will rain ALL day, just scattered rain is what is predicted.

This is my hollywood studios extra magic hours day with jedi training academy signup first thing in the morning. Boo

there is time for it to change, it is still pretty far out in the forecast. it's not like there is an imminent system and they've been flip flopping about rain early in the week for the last month

I also like weatherundeground, they have a graph with percentages at all hours of the day

In 2013 it started raining around 4pm for my mvmcp, they even did the rain parade. We were all wet. We had coats and hinges on, but the cuffs of pants and shirts get wet and feet get chilly. It was sort of dissapointing. Most of my party left early. I got to ride space mountain 12 times in a row .. Walk in, ride, walk off, and repeat. No waiting lol.

This year, my party it the 4th. Hope it does t rain!!

Okay guys! Tomorrow I am going to see Moana after work!! Wednesday morning- I have to open up early at work, 630, and then at four we head to the city to stay at the airport hotel for the night. Flights at 530am, and we'll be in Orlando at 130!

Here are my last ponderings...
What time should I be in the line for CP 5pm whoopi show?
What time should I get to EPCOT for the 820 garden grill breakfast? Want in early!
And same for magic kingdom, 840 reservation, what time should in be getting off the bus at mk?

Good luck to everyone with a few more days wait! And good luck to anyone who might be trying to do mde with the popwarners

What a day! DH woke up with a fever and stayed home from work today. You know, the man cold, LOL. And I've got a major issue with one of my clients I'm trying to deal with. These clients are not the easiest to begin with and their payment got all messed up so I'm sorting that out today. AND one of my certifications is getting messed up because the organization can't get a hold of one of my references. :( was SO hoping to have that done before I left.

BUT on the positive side, my two powerbanks arrived - and I'm feeling like I'm making progress on packing! Going to work on our day by day schedule tonight.

Has anyone been stalking the weather? now it's calling for rain on 12/4 which is my MK day :(

Oh no! I hope DH feels better soon! You just reminded me I still have to get my flu shot sometime this week!!

Aww, too bad it wasn't all year round. That reminds me though...does anyone know where the Visa M&G's are? I know there's one at Epcot and I think HS, but I don't know where they are.

I think we will be doing EMH at HS as well! And Jedi ; ) Maybe they will get the same group :-)
When do you plan to get there for an 8am open? My sister's visit on 12/3 totally threw my plans in a tizzy!

by 7:30 maybe even earlier. I have not kept up with recent news but @Candycane83 said the last one had a super long line, 45 minutes long, so maybe more like 7:15. We are staying at BWV and half wondering if we should shoot for 6:30 to get some breakfast at boardwalk bakery or something.

I'd like him to do the first (10:10) group but can accommodate other times if need be. I should figure out backups. Supposed to rain so I'd like to get it done as early as possible.

I think for all PPO they let you in at 8am regardless of your ADR time, so I'd be there a bit before 8.

for whoopi no idea!

We are also trying to do Jedi on 12/4. That is DS birthday. I think we plan on urbering to park so we are the first in.:darth:

So fun reading through these now that we are all so close and some are there!! My plane lands at MCO in 48 hours! I did get to see the dentist today and need a root canal, ugh, which they can't schedule me for it until after Disney. So he gave me an antibiotic and told me to take advil and say hi to Mickey for him.

Ugh, why can I never be done with planning?!?!?:badpc:
On our 12/4 EMM day, we have Chef Mickey dinner at 7pm. Our plan was to get there 1/2 hour early and see if they could seat us, then jet over to Epcot to catch Illuminations after.
However, I realized yesterday that somewhere along in my travels, I picked up a 6pm Crystal Palace ADR.
Now I'm wondering which one we should do. We've eaten at both places so I can't use that as a deciding factor.
From a character standpoint we are seeing Minnie and Mickey at H&V on 12/6, plus we've got a breakfast at 1900 Park Fare where we'll see at least a couple of the Pooh characters.
So, it comes down to food, and timing. Why do I keep second guessing myself?!?!?

Well, if it's food and timing, sounds like CP is the winner. You'll already be in MK...right? Then you won't have to leave to go to a third location for dinner, won't need to cross your fingers and hope you get seated early...and what if you go to CM and get seated late? You will feel so rushed. Never eaten at CM...but every thing I read says CP food is better. And then there's Piglet and Eeyore......need I say more? Just my opinion....
