Hey guys! All went well on my front! I was pleasantly surprised. As of this morning, FEA is available pretty much anytime 1:15 on.
No problems at all with any of the other rides, which was nice!
And thank you all so much for the tips!! I didn't even look at the times listed at the right; I just clicked on the icon right away. Thank you so much for that tip!
Someone had suggested actually writing down the time you get for each attraction. I had my chart of what I was trying to get, but I didnt' actually write or record the exact one I got....
that would have been helpful to have when you went to book another and it said there was a "conflict" with times. Someone definitely suggested this this week, and I totally forgot to do it! so..do it!

So I am really very happy, BUT.... I asked my husband to keep the girls busy while I was doing "my business."
at 7:00 ON THE DOT my daughter comes in, "happy birthday mama, I made you this card." #($*@()$*()@# AHH! So, I was like a deer in headlights...grrr..sooo annoyed at my husband! lol . I said thank you so much!! I love it!! and I told her to come sit with me while I did the Disney stuff. But, I felt SO Bad because I didn't open it right away. After I booked FEA and 7DMT and got a feel for how to do it I stopped and opened her card, and she was happy. I still feel like SUCH A BAD MOM i'll regret not just waiting to book and taking the time to open it from her right away. So, I'm excited today, but I also feel pretty lousy

Everything else was super easy!

Glad it went well for you! I also remembered reading this tip and had my spreadsheet up on my 2nd monitor with the desired times and then filled in the times actually reserved. It was helpful to reference since it did happen that I had to adjust some other desired times because they now would cause an overlap.

Well my FP+ for MVMCP doesn't open until tomorrow (fingers crossed) but I did manage to grab an Ohana Breakfast this morning (been stalking all week, I figure everyone is dropping their ADRs now that their FPs are in place). So now our surprise short WDW trip has Chef Mickey's brunch, MVMCP, and an Ohana breakfast. I do need some help with my FP, though. If I do Space Mountain with my son, would you recommend trying to get Belle or Ariel M&G for my wife & 3yo girl? I think Rapunzel is unavailable after November. TIA. Also, does anyone need a 12/5 Supercalifragilistic Brunch at 1900 Park Faire for 4 (8:25)?

I don't think you should feel badly about it. I'm sure she won't remember it the same way you do. Plus if you do Disney things enough in her childhood, she will really understand. At my house the peeps call it "Disneying"', as in "don't bother Grandma now, she is busy Disneying".

don't feel lousy. I actually believe that it is a good thing that kids learn that the world does not stop revolving for them all the time! yes she did a nice thing for you and she sat with you and waited for 10 minutes. Believe me, even if she ends up in therapy it will not be high on the list of things she has to discuss with the therapist You are not a bad mom. there are times in our lives when there are things we need to do and the kids need to wait. It sounds like she waited, you gave her lots of love and affection and it's all good.


AND you got FEA!

BTW I think all of this availability bodes well for crowds. a friend of mine went to disney with her son a few weeks ago (september) and had no FEA at 60 days available.

It's great to hear your good news I think almost all of the fp I got were about 15 min or so off....which is fine , because I honestly couldn't decide what I was aiming for anyway lol this kinda made the decision for me

There's speculation that they aren't doing FP+ for PFH any longer because they could be adding Elena of Avalor. But if it were me, I'd try to FP+ Enchanted Tales with Belle; I hear the line gets pretty attrocious.

You can try the modify trick later today to check times. That's what i did last night and got everything I wanted

Eeeeek!!! Just set up our fast passes for our trip December 3-10!!! I'll just post the highlights.

12/3: arrival night, will probably just explore the resort
12/4: FEA at 5:30!
12/5: TSMM at 9:45. Not sure when we'll do the RNRC. Hopefully we can catch a time when the line isn't too bad.
12/6: BOG ADR at 8 am, 7DMT at 11:15, and Peter Pan at 1:25, MVMCP in the evening
12/7: Garden Grill brunch at 10:00, FEA at 1:50, Candlelight Processional at 6:45
12/8: Kilimanjaro at 9:20, Everest at 11:20, Yak and Yeti ADR at 1:00
12/9: 7DMT at 10:40
12/10: we say good bye

We are so so excited! It's just my mom and I for a girls trip for her birthday.

Thanks to all of you. It made me feel a bit better! A bit hectic here this morning (of course!) I'll pop in a bit to see how everyone's morning went!! I was thinking the same thing @Lisa F about the crowds!!! This was a completely different experience for me than making the adrs at 180

I have a question. How long do you all "schedule" for Disney Springs and what do you do there? This is a big unknown to me right now. The only thing I remember from DTD on my last trip many years ago is the Adventurer's Club, which is no more! I've looked at most of the restaurant menus, but haven't investigated any stores yet. We aren't interested in the bowling, movie theatre, or Cirque de Soleil. So does that leave just eating and shopping?
