Really?!?!?!?! MSEP for Princess Elena?! If that's the sort of math Disney is doing, I think people are going to revolt! I still have a reservation for the MSEP package on Dec 3 and they have not contacted me yet. Hmm... we'll see what they come up with.

& @Lisa If it makes you all feel any better at Disneyland, Mikey's Halloween Party is losing Paint the Night parade (well we are losing it all together except for "select nights") but we should all be excited about the price increase the exclusion of parking in the ticket price and wait for it.... The headless horseman ride (before you get excited it's not a ride,the headless horseman "rides" on his horse through Main Street). It's cool, but one he's been there before and two how is that a replacement for Paint the Night the best possible parade on Earth. Give me a break Disney! We are sad you are taking away things don't tell us to Not be sad because of the new "additions". They don't compare and we know you're not naive enough to believe that yourself, so stop trying to tell us to be happy over the cuts, demolitions, delays etc. when your "new" things don't compare.

The real rub is they're taking away a parade that is arguably fun for the entire family and attempting to sell all of us on a replacement that is definitely targeted at a much narrower audience.

for what it is worth I don't think that Disney is selling Elena as a replacement for the parade. it was basically "we are sorry to hear you are disappointed but look at all of the NEW, exciting things that are coming to the MK for your trip!" and then she read down the list. and that was it. LAME.

fries with cheese, bacon, lettuce, tomato and ranch dressing. Anyone who ever had them as Pinocchios knows. Do you think it would be glad to dump my BoG "lunch" ADR and just go to the plaza for loaded fries and milkshakes? CP breakfast at 9:50, HDDR at 6:15. Too much food? lol

Even my 6 year old princess crazy dd does not give a fig about elena of avalor. MSEP would have been great. Meh.

Star wars dessert party just opened up for an additional week... through October 1. Just tried it and it's available to reserve. This is going to be painful waitingredients (it already has been)!!!

I have extremely limited knowledge of Epcot. In 2013, we spent 1/2 day in Future World and wandered into Mexico and that was it. I'm bouncing off the walls excited about exploring all that Epcot has to offer this time around! We will be going to Teppan Edo for dinner directly from POR. It looks like it might be a good idea to enter at the International Gateway entrance--does that seem right? I'm also trying to figure out the best way of getting to that entrance from POR. Any advice?

Hmm I would say if you're willing to pay for a cab/uber to one of the Epcot resorts, you can go there and walk to the international gateway from there. It's a nice option to go a little early and go to the resorts to see Xmas decorations. If you don't want to go for that, I think taking the bus to the front of Epcot and walking towards WS would be the best option.

Oh I like that idea very much! Definitely would love to check out the Epcot area resort decorations. Wandering around the Boardwalk area is also on the to do list. This will be a great time for that. Thanks!

So...the Holiday dessert parties. Several questions:
1. Did we (and by "we", I mean "y'all", because I certainly don't know) ever figure out if fireworks start at 9:30 or 10:00 on party nights? The holiday dessert party "know before you go" says they start at 10:00, touringplans has it starting at 9:30, and the Cmas party schedule for last year had them starting at 9:30.
2. Mickey's Most Merriest Celebration is the new stage show replacing Celebrate the...something. How can we find out what times that show will be?
3. There is usually a short 15 min or so pre-fireworks show, right? At the castle? Does anyone know anything about being able to see from Tomorrowland terrace? It's one thing to see fireworks in the sky from somewhere, but to try to see characters...just wondering if anyone has experience/comments/opinions on this.
4. If Mickey's Most Merriest Celebration starts shortly after fireworks, which it looked like it's predecessor did...can we stay on the terrace and watch from there? Do they sorta kick us out after fireworks are over?

I learned that the terrace is not a great viewing spot to see the characters in front of the castle. We're going to a holiday dessert party too and I asked.

Since your family loves the Beast, FYI that he is on the very first float with Belle in the Festival of Fantasy parade. My daughter is a Beast fanatic so I've been looking at all options of trying to see him. He RARELY (the CM stressed rarely), but does OCCASIONALLY (also stressed occasionally lol!) makes appearances with Belle at France in Epcot.

WAH. the only good thing is that it continues to be offered every night even in the lower seasons so hopefully the december weeks sandwiched between two major holidays will have saturday night showings (all I care about. I know I am mercenary). Especially with MSEP gone, I really really want to do this for my son. really. I can make it work on another night but prefer to do it that saturday night.

if anyone who is looking for this sees it come open to book can you please PM me? I don't care if I get like 5pms lol. I wax and wane on my disboards participation and the only emails I get are convos sent to my inbox. I'm in a frenzied period when i am reading and posting a lot but worried that it will be released when I am busy with other things. Thanks!
