We have always traveled during off season. But, this year we booked a great package and have to travel June 1 - 5. We are booked at ASMo.

Am I going to regret going at that time? Are the crowds terrible?

I was hoping that some of the northern schools would still be in session and we wouldn't be crowded.

I know there are going to be "special" activites going on that week at DW and we are going to do opposite parks on those days.

Thanks,

Hope::yes::

We have been several times during this time frame and its always been great. We get up early beacause of the heat and
usually have a great day. Enjoyprincess:

We used to try and go in Septemer until ds started high school. Now we go the first 10 days in June and it's not all that crowded. There are longer waits, but using fastpasses and takling a break around 1 or so really helps. We swim, have an early dinner and head back to the parks. You'll do fine. Have fun!!::yes::

I havent been to WDW in 9 years....but it was the first week in june then and it was fine

we are going the same time this year...I expect the same

Im with you, I think lots of schools are still in session and why pull your kid from school if he/she gets out for the summer within a couple weeks

We are going those days too. June 1st-8th.

I don't think crowds will be too bad, I have been told that I should just plan on afternoon rain everyday (that way if there is no rain it feels like a bonus). I checked last years almanac for first week of June and it was Mid 80's to mid 90's and humid. It rained many days, but never much. Bring an extra pair of shoes, there is nothing worse than wet shoes in WDW.

I also heard (here) that last year WDW made every park an EE park on the day MK was having it's 'special' event.

It will also be a Star Wars weekend at MGM, and still Garden and Flower days at Epcot

We've been there before at that time & are headding there again, June 4-9. Except for the "special activities" it isn't that bad. But with Memorial day on the 31 of May, it might be a little crowded.Much better than when we went on the July 4 weekend.
Jim:crazy:

OK - so how do we know if the other parks are having an unofficial EE day? Will it be on the Disney hours & info channel (whatever it's called)? Do we call someone? Just show up at 8am?

I think with stuff going on at MK, Epcot AND MGM, Animal Kingdom is our pick for that Saturday! I'd like to be there at EE if there will be one.

Aren't EE days when they are open later for resort guests? Each park has early entry days. Our TA has told us when those will be. Would you like me to look it up for you.

I want to know about the late night hours!

We will be going to AK Saturday also. Do you know where the "special" event will be each day?

I must be out of it. We are gonig June 6 through 12th. Will these "special events" be going on during that time? Just don't want to have to make explanations to D5&7, yet.:wave2:

fam4jc..........just check the website stated above!! There are going to be "special" days at all of the parks. If you want to avoid the crowds on those days, chose an alternate park. That is what we are doing.

Everything should be fine is we just plan ahead.
