Hello all...Getting back into the swing of things is VERY hard after a trip like this. I think we need to be wealthy and on vacation forever....great plan huh?
So on with our wonderful family vacation! The cast...(in case you missed it) is....
DW - 33 - mother of 3 beautiful children. And who just loves that castle!!
DH - 33 - loves to take the pics.....HATES to be in them...
DS- 13- thought this trip was "totally cool"
DD- 8- loved everything...
DD-5- the daredevil-- and just loves that mouse!
So on with my story.....Day 5
This was one of those days that we weren't sure about...Today was our Sea World day...and why would we go there while we are at Disney World? Well...we don't know but we sure had a great time!!!
We got back to the resort kinda late and had snack....and of coarse a swim.
Day 6 (Friday June 7 th)
Today is our Breakfast at Cindy's!!!!!!!! My girls and I jump out of bed (at 6:30!! ) Ok....so THEY didn't jump...I DID! We had a PS for 8:30....We are rushing around due to the fact we have to get on a bus to take us to the Settlement, then a bus to the TTC, THEN the monorail to the MK.....WHY would you do that you ask? Because we didn't want to be late...we wanted to take pics with no one on Main Street...and the boat doesn't start running until 8:15, which in my opinion was cutting it too close....I was lucky enough to get these ressies I wasn't taking any chances. So off we go.....Let's see...we are on our way to the TTC when...EEEKKK (gasp) WE FORGOT THE AUTOGRAPH BOOKS!!! No time to go back..OH NO!! ....WHATEVER WILL WE DO!!!?? (smirk) We'll just buy 2 more....I think DISNEY plans it this way don't you? So here we are at MK....I took pics of the girls in front of the castle..not another soul in sight!!! Cool huh? Then up we go to Cindy's.."need an autograph book? " asks a smiling CM...."Why yes we do....2 please...." "Great!" says the CM (like she didn't know already) Doesn't Disney know everything???
Anyway...service at Cindy's was ok...not great, but just ok...I thought the food was pretty good...mine was "veeery tastey" as my dd stated. But they were not impressed with theirs...oh they ate 10 pieces of bacon a piece but said the pancakes "aren't as good as yours mommy"......oh......isn't that sweet.......Now who are you little rats and where are MY rats?? LOL.....Anyway our first princess was Sleeping Beauty.....then Belle....Mary Poppins ..Cinderella and Prince Charming then Snow White was downstairs. It was so much fun!!! I don't know who loved it more me or the girls..I would love to go back again....dinner or breakfast or both!!! My DH will cringe when he reads that....
So while we were dining with a princess, the guys were at Epoct running the race of a lifetime to be the first at Test Track....I guess when they drop the rope it's a mad dash to the ride....they were like the first in line at the rope and trying to map out their course....should they go though the restraunt...naw that might slow them down....ready set........GO!!! they are running...flying no less (this is from the ds) and ...holy cow people are cutting through the restraunt....cheaters...then they almost see a 8-9 yr old kill his little sister or brother by running with the stroller at full speed...did they stop to help ....NO.... because after all the kids parents are the ones who cheated!! AND are ahead of them at this very moment...sheesh...the drama...so they are in the first group of riders for Test Track....hot dog.....and they thought it was..........ok..........Ok?? What do you mean just ok?? Well.....and a smile is all I got.....but they had fun doing it...that's what matters....So while the girls and I are waiting for them we headed to Toon Town...fun...we rode the roller coaster...visited Mickey and Minnie's house's...we got FP for Winnie the Pooh...and did a little shopping....we meet up with the guys during the shopping stage, much to their horror...(heheheh)....we take another spin around the MK and head for the boat...at this point it's about 1:30.....2....NAP is all I can think.....for me and them....So to the cabin we go.....little nap.....little swim....and the storm clouds start movin in.......darn....our plan was to go to dinner...and then back to Epcot....well that didn't quite work out due to the rain...That night we went to Wilderness Lodge to Artist Point.........Wonderful........oh my gosh......words cannot describe the food........the service.....the VIEW!!! Even in the rain it was great!.....Now the same can be said about the bill...but we won't go there It was well worth it...So....with the rain....what to do ...what to do....hmmm....we decided to ride the monorail around to the different resorts and take a look around...that was a lot of fun....we ended up at the Poly around the fireworks time and went out on their beach...under the umbrella's and watched the show......very magical.....the rain let up a little....it was a very nice time....by the time we made it "home" it was around 11...being on vacation is rough............
