So, I gave in and rented a scooter for my upcoming visit.

I don't plan on using it all the time, but I never know how my knee will do on a given day. I will be fine one day, but after a day of walking the chances of the following day being bad are pretty good.

My question is the convenience of parking of the scooter in the parks and resort areas.
Can I just park the scooter in the stroller area? Is that the best place to keep it between the longer distances between attractions.

I think I will be able to handle the lines, its the longer distances I have problems with.

Stroller parking is usually where I park mine when I park it. The first trip that I got one I parked it at Carousel of Progress stroller parking then backtracked and did the Tomorrowland attractions. Some of the other lands it seemed harder to find a nice central location to leave it so I would either take it with me in the attraction, or park outside each one. It sounds like you will travel kind of like me.....I can stand in line for a few (or several) minutes, but I can not walk the parks all day long. I finally gave up last year on Tower of Terror and had DH take me through the line in a wheelchair....I usually walk that....but this time it was late in the trip, we didn't have fastpasses, the heat was wearing me down and I just didn't think I could do it and not be exhausted. Tower is my all time favorite ride and since it was probably going to be our last ride on it that trip, I wanted to enjoy it.
