Day 8
Thursday, 9/1
Today was another beach day much like yesterday. We did remember to bring our waterproof disposable camera and took some fun pictures of the kids underwater in the ocean.
We took a break from the beach later in the afternoon and the kids played Ping-Pong with Big Poppy and Daddy.
Big Poppy and Margaret had their own plans for dinner so we headed back down to Ft. Lauderdale for the evening. We dined at Pussers at the Beach and had a great table outdoors next to a fountain with a view of the beach and the ocean. For dinner we enjoyed a chicken/pineapple quesadea. (the best quesadea we have ever had!), Sesame Tuna, Tuna Sofrito, A Pussers Rum and Tonic with Lemon (the Best Mommy has ever had!) and Fried honey Bananas. The kids had grilled cheese and fries and ice cream. This was one of our favorite meals of our entire vacation. The total for this evening came to $67.31
After Dinner we took a nice walk on the beach. The kids wanted to play in the sand so we decided to grab our blanket from the van and let the kids play. Mommy and Daddy relaxed on the blanket while Kayla and Michael played in the sand and waives (clothes and all). The sun was setting and we could see some lightning in the distance so we packed up our wet kids and drove back to Big Poppys. After showers and a little TV we were all sound asleep.
Tomorrow: Our last beach day

Day 9
Friday 9/2
Today was our last beach day. We woke up early and headed out to our spot at Ft. Lauderdale Beach. We all enjoyed our last fun filled day of playing in the sand and swimming with the sting ray (he seemed to be hanging around) in the ocean.
For dinner tonight we treated Big Poppy and Margaret to dinner at one of their favorite little Italian restaurants, Little Italy. We enjoyed garlic rolls, Eggplant and Chicken Parmesan and good old fashion spaghetti and meatballs.
After dinner we spent some time visiting with Big Poppy and packing. We all went to bed early tonight, as we had to get an early start to head back to Disney in the morning.
Tomorrow: Checking into the Boardwalk, Epcot & California Grill
