ok mine is very frusterating :
on 6/28 I emailed asking if I could recieve the $200 gift card or 200 reward point added to my account.
They replied immediately on 6/29 and said Yes, that my account did qualify for the points and that since my trip is coming up soon she would add the point to my account and then gave instructions for how to obtain the redemption card (I already knew, but glad glad they included instruction as if I've never done it. )
I replied the same day and said thank you, I appreicate it and when should I be recieving the points to my account ? on this billing cycle ? the next cycle, etc ?
I got an auto-responce saying my reponse was being forwarded to the correct place. ( ok, fine )
The same rep replied on 6-30 and says this :
I understand your inquiry regarding the gift card for the
enrollment promotion. The $200.00 Disney Gift card will
be mailed to the address listed on the account. It is a
separate gift card and not Disney Dream Rewards Dollars,
therefore will not be posted to the statement
hhuunnnhhh ? you just said 2 days ago you were adding the points to my account ?
So, let the 4-6 comes, no gift card, no points.
This is exactly why I did the messages, so I can have in writting what they said, that way there is no confusion over who said what and when, it's in black and white.
I called Chase, they have no clue what I'm talking about ! She says she can see the notes in the system saying we were eligiable for the $200 either in gift card or point. But says she never see's if they were ever sent out.
I say in a very simple way, well if they weren't sent, when are you sending them ? I said ya know I've waited the 4-6 weeks and they haven't arrived. She says again yes, she can see where they are noted to be sent, but can't tell if they were ever sent . hhuuhhhhh ? you can't tell if you ever sent them ? so what, I could call 100x times and request them and you own system wouldn't know better ?
I go round and round with the agent, there is no resolve, I asked her like 4-5x why can't she just reprocess it and add the point to my account today ? She says she can't. That she dosen't see what code to use or what-ever to add them to my account. That she can't find any info on it w/i their own system of how to add them . By this point I've been on the phone 45-50 mins and have had the call escliated 3 times, they still have no clue what I'm talking about.
The end result is they don't know if they sent them and they can't add them because they can't figure out the code ?
There was no resolve, they said to call back in 2 weeks, because maybe it's 6-8 weeks processing rather then 4-6 weeks.
I said, uuumm, hello I've already waited 6 weeks and you can't tell me either yes or no if I'm getting points, if they are on the way or if I'm getting a gift card ?
The tone in her voice indicated I have a fat chance at getting the points or g/c. She kept asking why did I think I qualified ? I told her that is exactly why I wrote in asking if I qualified and could we get the points. Once they responded with "Yes, you qualify" they should follow through and do what they've said they are going to do.
I mean that's why I followed with a response asking the agent when the points would be added, they she replied with an opposite answer about sending a gift card. UUmmm, what would they have done if I just waited til I get to DTD and expected the points to be there ?
The last phone agent ended the conversation with letting me know, she noted the system that I called and she acknowledges that their system says we are eligiable and they should have been sent, but that she can't add them due to the code and she dosen't see how/why we would qualify .
Great, now the next agent to take my call if only going to read the last entry that says " doesn't qualify "
Thank gosh I called to follow up, DH would be pretty peeved to be standing at DTD on the phone for over and hour going back and forth only to be told we weren't getting them
