Hi!
Sorry I was MIA. Our computer crashed Saturday, and we had to buy a new one. We can't hook it up until ds gets his work software loaded on, so I won't be able to post from home for a few days.
Thank goodness I can come to work!
On the bright side, our computer was about 7 years old, so I'm looking for significant upgrades in speed and maneuverability. Our software was from 1997, so that's about to improve, too.
My eating is getting better. It's about to get alot better tomorrow. DH and I give up fast and fried food for Lent. That means no more stray ffs from ds's happy meals. I'm also going to eat 5 fruits/vegetables each day before I can touch one of those yummy 100 cal packs of anything. I am bound to eat fewer calories.
My exercise is still going great. I'm up to 2.75 mi for a long run once a week, and I've been running over 2.5 miles 2x/week and sticking with the bike 2x as well. I just started week 5 of working out 5 days a week. I have never stuck to exercise like this before. I am determined I will be at that Half Marathon, and this is the only way I know to get there.
Melissa -- Legs are slow to change. The fact that someone objective is seeing progress is awesome!
Nikki -- I'm so glad JC is working for you!
It sounds like you are enjoying some wonderful meals. Do they encourage you to exercise as well, or is it just from eating? I'm not familiar with the program, but it sounds great.
Michelle -- I empathize with you. You have so much going on in your body right now, losing weight has to be #2 next to feeding that baby. I didn't breastfeed for very long, so I don't think I'm much help. Are either you or your husband just naturally small? My SIL are both size 0s, and dh isn't exactly a bruiser. We had to have ds on whole milk until he was about 6, he was just naturally not a big kid. That could be the case with your wee one, too. He's exactly average now -- always at 50% on the height and weight charts. I'm sure someone with more experience will have better advice. Just be open to doing what you need to for the baby to thrive. In my case, that was to supplement/stop breastfeeding 'cause he wasn't getting enough nourishment. I don't mean to imply that's the case for you, just wanted to let you know that could be a possibility. I think you just need a
You have barely recovered from giving birth, and you're trying to take care of three kids by yourself, not worry too much about dh, and lose weight. You have a very full plate. I think you're doing a great job, and you should be very proud of yourself. I know your dh is very proud of you, too!
Jen -- I'm glad to hear you are remembering to have fun with your friends. Doing things you enjoy is a great way to get your execise in. Laser tag is much better than the TM!
Dona -- I really hope you are feeling better, I think ice is beyond frightening. I find it hard to leave the house, but I've been making myself go to work. We're warming up to the 40s today, so it should start to melt. Congratulations on your new Eagle Scout! I hope you can get back to yoga quickly, I know how much you enjoy it.
Everyone have a great evening. I'll check in tomorrow after I do some pesky paperwork...

Holy Cow! I had no idea it was that much. Why am I not malnourished? I guess that is the reason I have lost some more weight. I am down one more pound today
and I have still been eating things I shouldn't. Like Valentine's chocolates and Taco Bell
I have started feeding her both breasts even if she stops eating on her own after one. I put her on the other and she eventually takes in more milk. Lets see if that works. I am SOOOOO hungry though!! I bought myself a mini trampoline, (did I mention this already, If I did I'm sorry for repeating myself) I worked out on it for a little while yesterday. It is a very tiring workout. It hurts my knees, but not so bad that I can't walk afterward. I did a curcuit workout, adding in some weights after a few minutes on the tramp. it was fun. I think I'll try to keep it up.

Michelle! Woohoo!! Another pound down, another pound down. Another one bites the dust!!
Not my decision. I'm photo editor and I had to be out of classes for 1/2 the day so I'll have double HW tomorrow, and I had to be the "meanie Jen" and tell people (for the thousand millionth time) "YES, it's picture day today, what's your name?, first AND last names please, around the seats please, not all the way back, through the third row, watch the wires, stand by those double doors, wait your turn, YES you have to have your picture taken, NO you can't wait for your friends, please get back to class, I know you don't want to go back to class, wait in line, NO everyone can't be last, YES I would like to get back to class and do something productive today, please behave!!" Is that what being a mom is like? If so I might reconsider having children. I about went crazy four times over. Picture day is most definitely belonging in the seventh circle of h-e-double hockey sticks.
I had to clean my fingers...then I realized what I was doing. I finished the job and quickly cleaned up.
I do not expect nor will I try to lose any more until I'm sure I can maintain 177. I would like to not see the 180's anymore. For a few days I'll eat a few more calories to see if I can keep it at 177 and not go up or down. Next week its back to the losing. I need to try to get out to the park again. Leila and Karina have been sick so we have been confined to the house all week. Maybe tomorrow we will get out. I start classes again on Tuesday, I can't wait to have something important to do. I am only 18 credits away from an Associates now! Each class brings me closer. Only problem is I have U.S. Hist to 1865
Not my favorite subject.
. I have a get together at a ladies house who sells Creative Memories scrapbooking supplies on Saturday and Sunday I'll be at the inlaws house and a quick trip to the Home Depot to acquire some DIS green Mickey heads
I did about 2 feet of the yard and my shoulders and hands are killing me. It's pretty good exercise though. I'll do a little bit everyday until it's done, at least I'll feel like I have accomplished something.
