Good evening to all fellow losers

Had first session with personal trainer, did various strengthening exercises. She set up the workout after consulting with the physical therapist. It's nice to have both facilities in the same location.

Tomorrow plan to do 45 min of cardio after pt.

ONward and Downward :cheer2: :cheer2:

Good Ol Gal...I can really see that I wasn't drinking enough water before yesterday...I am going to the POTTY ALL DAY LONG! I may cut back a little..I think I'm working my kidneys into exhaustion. I've got a rule...whenever I finish my 16 oz glass of water I fill it back up and everytime I walk into the kitchen I have to drink some..now I don't even want to go into the kitchen..so that helps with snacking! :)

Chrismiss! Well, I have to say I'm happy she has strep! :) Maybe the doctor will write you an extra prescription for you....my doc does that because strep seems to travel in our family. Get well soon!!!!

NYcpa...So happy you've got a good trainer who knows what your body can handle...don't push yourself too hard and remember to drink that water...it not only helps us flush away the flab it also helps our muscles and joints repair themselves.

Onwards & Downwards gang!

Tara

Tara - Thank you so much for the Top 10 reasons to stay away from CCCD. I laugh so loud when I read it. Great job on your weigh in. :cool1: 180's here you come!

Chrismiss - I so hope your family is feeling better soon. You have a great trip coming up and everyone has to be 100% by then! :wizard:

Good ol Gal - Great job and staying away from the snacks. It was so hard for me to break my evening bad habits after the kids go to bed. I feel your pain. Keep up the good work! :cheer2:

I took a sneak peak at the scale today and saw 169. I don't official count it until Sunday. But I got a little a head of myself in celebrating and had a horrible lunch. :sad2: I have just been craving a cheeseburger for so long and shared from fries with the hubby. I have been drinking water like crazy to try to flush it all way as much as possible. Today was suppose to be my rest day (took last Thursday off) but I worked out anyway.

Goodnews is that I got to unload some of those demon treats that were in my freezer on my mother today. She has company coming to town soon and I told her to eat those cinamon rolls and cookie dough.

Onwards and Downwards! And I hope everybody has a great Friday. :cheer2: :cheer2:
Tracy

Happy Friday Losers!!! :cool1:

I hope everyone has a wonderful day and weekend! Remember... We are one day closer to the 150's! :cheer2:

Good Morning All :sunny:

DD has had 2 doses of meds in her and hopefully when she wakes up today will starting feeling better!! :flower: I know after today she will - just have to get through today. She is not the worlds best patient - tends to be overdramatic and always thinks she is moving on to the next life...... ;) Oh this is only when she is sick which is not that often even though it has been twice in the last month.......I know I know this is getting confusing. :rotfl: Anyway keep your fingers crossed that this is the last painful day for her.

Rescheduled my appt with the personal trainer for Monday evening. I guess that is a good way to start the month of March!!

sarahsmom - keep reminding us that we are one day closer. Right now this body feels like it hasn't moved an inch!! :rotfl2:

Tracy - I do hope you enjoyed the cheeseburger!! You should be proud of yourself that you knew what to do afterwards!! That will serve you well when you hit maintenance.

Tara - The doctor would not give me any meds - told me to keep washing my hands.........I feel like the germs are knocking on my bedroom door saying "You can run but you can't hide" :rotfl2: Just waiting for the sledge hammer to fall ;) Keep drinking your water!!

NYCPA - Isn't it great to have someone pay attention to you on a one on one basis? Cant wait to try this. I think I will treat myself to a personal trainer evey once in a while........Keep moving!!

To the rest of the gang - HAPPY FRIDAY!!

Your mission this weekend which I KNOW you will choose to do is -

Keep drinking your water!! :cheer2:
Keep making healthy food choices!! :cheer2:
Keep MOVING!! :cheer2:
Keep your eye on the prize!! :cheer2:

Couldn't do this without you - Thanks for always being there for me :grouphug:

Just out of curiosity - where is everyone from and how about alittle background.

I am 49 yrs old DW and Mom of 2 DD (20 and 17). Live in the Chicago area all my life and can't wait to get rid of winter:):) Have worked at the Disney stores twice and want to be a WDW CM when I grow up :earsboy: Currently a substitute teacher and am off to a first grade classroom today........

Have a magical Disney Day!!
Linda

Good Morning everyone:wave2::wave2::wave2:

It's a nice warm 16 here. Supposed to get up to 25 (A heat wave)

chrismiss56 - I agree with you, winter can end any day. We normally get a major storm about St Pat's Day, so I can look for that. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I am 52, a divorcee and the mother of 2 dd (18 & 31). Both dd in college in other states so am dealing with empty nest syndrom big time. Live in the CNY area near Syracuse "Let's Go Orange" :cheer2::cheer2::cheer2: Am a CPA who stays busy all year but this season is usually the most crazy:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

Let's continue to be LOSERS:banana::banana::banana:

4togo!!! 169!!! I have to admit..if I saw that number I'd probably have a cheeseburger, too!!! :) :wizard: Lots of pixie dust your way for a GREAT weigh in SUNDAY!!! I'll save my celebrating for then...drink your water, avoid high salty foods and I bet Sunday will bring you even better news! :) You are DOING GREAT!!! And look at YOU!!! You MASTERED all that DOUGH!!!

Jen!! YES, we are ONE DAY closer to 150's!!! I look back on how quickly time flies it'll be nice to know that this time it's flying with pounds on it's wings! :)

Linda! I'm hoping DD woke up feeling refreshed...it's funny, when people mention dd's I think they're little things..I can imagine an almost adult patient is a little more hard to handle than a small one...my little ones can play with a 102 fever! :) And they bounce back so quickly...but when my DH gets sick...oh my...the sky is falling! That stinker doctor! I'm sooo hoping you stay well!!! GREAT TIPS FOR THE DAY!!! I really have to read those daily or they slip out of my mind and cravings/cheating opportunities slip in! :)

Bio time...I'm 37...married for 12 years...have three children ages 9, 5, 6...worked as a pharmaceutical rep for 7 years before staying home with my dc. I homeschool all three of them and the secret is it's a lot easier than most think....initially started because son's asthma was so severe he would never have made it through a year of school...but now he's almost attack free and we love the creative flow of homeschooling. Plus vacationing whenever we want...and dh and I both want to be sweeping main street in our retirement! :) So let's start a retirement club after we get to GOAL!!! :) We've moved around alot (with my job and now husband's...he stayed home with the kids while I worked) Atlanta, Seattle, Memphis and now Huntsville.

Off to my first court date...let you know how it turns out! :)

NO STRESS EATING!!!
Tara

Tara- I have actually been to Hunstville AL twice when DDs were on a skating team!! Do they still have the Unclaimed Baggage Center? What a hoot that retail adventure was!! Do you have boys or girls?

Kathy - Where do your girls go to college? My 20 yr old DD goes to Indiana University. As a matter of fact I am taking the 17 DD college shopping over spring break. DH cannot get away from work so it will be a girls adventure. :sunny:

We are going to hit 33 degrees today WOO HOO :rotfl: NOT!! :rotfl2: Looking for 75 or 80's

Have a great day!!

And a magical Disney Day!! :earsboy:
]Linda

chrismiss56 - Lynne (xterratri) is in medical school at UNE in Biddeford Maine. Erin is a freshman at Hollins University in Roanoke , Va.

Nycpa...by any chance one of your sweet dd's in law school? :) I went to our court date today...apparently it was just a day to set the trial date...(March 11th) but the judge gave me a hard time about not having counsel...saying with Rules of Evidence that their attorney can use legal mumbo jumbo and prohibit my evidence from being admitted....is there a book for dummies? My friend who is an attorney..well, not a close friend, just a family friend, told me not to use an attorney because his fees would eat my judgment up and you can't sue for attorney fees in General Sessions. AAGH! All this angst for some people who won't take responsibility for their actions...ugh!

Good news...this time around stress is actually helping my eating....I can't even think of cheating...my appetite is GONE!!! Always a silver lining, isn't there?

I had 5 glasses of water and a shrimp casear salad...feeling FLUSHED! :)

ONWARDS & DOWNWARDS GANG!
Tara

Things have been busy around here! Some good weight losses! Keep up the good work Club 150!

I joined the TOM club today which could explain the backache etc. I'm early...better than being late!! :flower: The irony of it all...I have to help DD with her anatomy and physiology project this weekend, her assigned body part is none other than the ovary!

My new slogan these days....It's progress, not perfection!

Have a good afternoon everyone!! :cheer2:

Tara: Sorry to hear about your court date stresses - If only we could be treated the way we treat others... Hang in there. You've got such a positive attitude - I am sending a special cheer-you-up prayer your way :love2:.

Jen: I admit - I'm becoming addicted to your songs (they keep going in my head over... and over... and over...) :rolleyes1 Lol! More! More!

Have a good weekend everyone!

Iris :wave2:

A dog ran into a butcher shop and grabbed a roast off the counter. Fortunately, the butcher recognized the dog as belonging to a neighbor of his. The neighbor happened to be a lawyer.

Incensed at the theft, the butcher called up his neighbor and said, "Hey, if your dog stole a roast from my butcher shop, would you be liable for the cost of the meat?" The lawyer replied, "Of course, how much was the roast?" "$7.98."

A few days later the butcher received a check in the mail for $7.98. Attached to it was an invoice that read: Legal Consultation Service: $150.

Sorry to hear about your day.

Tracy

Today is weigh in day for me, I lost 2lbs this week for a total of 7lbs. Everything is calm here for now, so staying on plan is easy.

Now for a little about myself, I am 28yrs old been married 6.5 yrs and have 2 sons ages 4 and 2. I live in a small town about 30 miles west of Ann Arbor, MI. I work full time as a lease accountant for a national retailer, and my husband is a paramedic/911 dispatcher and a volunteer firefighter. I have never lived anywhere but this area. This best part about where I live, is that right a cross the road is a large start park, that is great for hiking during nice weather. As a family we enjoy camping and spending time with our extended family that is in the area.

Regina

Regina!!! 2 POUNDS!!!!  YAHOO!!! 2 pounds is really a GREAT loss for a week!!! And 7 pounds total is AWESOME!!! You are really a LOSING SUCCESS!! Oh, and your hometown sounds LOVELY!!! I would give my eyeteeth (are these really that important?) to live near a park or you!!! It would be great to just phone you up and say, LET'S GO!!! And you're a baby! We'll get you fit and fancy free so when you're in your thirties you won't have to worry about all this extra weight! :) I'm shooting for fit by the time I'm 40!!! :)

Tracy!!! :rotfl2: :rotfl2: I truly admire those in the law profession...but some of the best jokes are at their expense!!! And for me to lose this case because I don't know how to file a motion in the correct order is crazy! My attorney would cost $2000 and I'm only suing for $2500...so I'm just going to have to read up on it...thanks Iris! Those prayers helped...I found a great website that coaches me through a proceeding..and I would have been hurting had I done it today..now I know all about exhibits, motions, and making enough copies for defense counsel and judge...oh my!

Did I say stress made me lose my appetite??? Well, my ds left his precious "Grizzly" bear at the restaurant I treated him at for having to drag him to court today. We had to drive all the way out (40 minute drive) to get it and dh just couldn't make it through the weekend without a television..so we had to buy one to replace our kaput one...all these errands made the kids ornery so we promised them ice cream...WHY DO I REWARD WITH FOOD????? Anywhoo...we stopped for ice cream..it had been 5 hours since I had eaten anything and dh ordered hot fudge brownie sundae...I really did good considering..I ate the cherry and most the whipped cream (low carb, right?) and some nuts...but I just couldn't stop my spoon from dipping into that hot fudge for 3-5 bites...ugh! I didn't have a bite of the brownie though and maybe a little ice cream stuck to the spoon on a whipped cream dig. And then for dinner I had vegetable beef stew avoiding the potatoes...so not so bad I guess....but who am I kidding...I am a STRESS EATER!!! :)

Off to do my cardio pilates and put this day BEHIND ME!!!! Boot camp going strong..haven't missed a scheduled workout!!! Water coming along well, too...

Let's kick it up this weekend!!! I've got two days in a row of 4 mile walks outside...gonna use my headset so I can speed up my walking...I start out sooo great...brisk pace...then I notice the birds singing to each other...my mind drifts to the opening scene of "The Sound of Music" and before you know it I'm leisurely strolling along at a grandmother's pace. With Boot Camp I've got to KICK IT UP!!!

Tara

My Bio - I'm 39 and knocking on 40. I have been married for 15 years to a guy I met in the 7th grade. (Its not as sappy as it sounds, we didn't actually start dating until our senior year in college.) After 4yrs of fertility (and lots of weight gain) we had our DS 6 and then by the grace of god we had our DS 4. I'm in the finance manager at a bank and my DH is a programmer at the same bank. My parents moved to Okie land from Boston when I was in Jr. High and I'm still a die hard Red Sox's fan.

Tonight I'm taking my night off. I did 7 days in a row and I think my muscles need a break. My brother in coming to take my DS in the circus tomorrow and my daughter is off with the grandparents so DH and are heading out in search of some new running shoes for me. (Without kids!)

I hope everyone has Super Workouts this weekend. :cheer2: :cheer2:

Remenber our Mojo. "Drink Water! Drink Water! Drink Water!
Tracy

HI Everyone :wave2: I've been MIA too long from my fellow 150 lb club members! I've missed you all. ::yes:: Well to make a long story short - I went on vacation which I was totally panicked about how I was going to do and be able to stay somewhat on plan and allow myself treats without going crazy, etc. I did excellent on vacation - even managed to lose a lb inspite of cake and special dinners made by my aunts and of course emotional eating. What I didn't plan for was coming home and having lots to do and not feeling like cooking, etc. One night turned into two which turned into three and here I am almost 2 weeks from the day I got back and I'm still not back on plan but Monday is THE DAY! I've gained back quite a few of those pounds I lost  The true test will be Sunday when I weigh in again. I have been trying WW since Jan 3rd and while I lost I have decided to go back to my tried and true counting calories with my "free days" - that's what got me down 55 lbs in the first place and I know it works. My goal for now is to get the first 10% gone! The 50 lbs I want to lose has seemed very daunting lately so I hope that this will help me to stay focused. I've set up some rewards and enlisted my DH and I'm ready to start losing some pounds!! Thanks Tara for the encouragement - I really appreciate it! :)

A little about me :) I'm 26 and married to a wonderful DH who loves Disney as much as me - I'm a lucky girl I know. :teeth: I work in Purchasing as an Expediter. I really enjoy my job it's so fast paced and the days fly by. I'm a new mommy to 5 fish! :fish: We just started our fish family over the past week and we are in love already :cloud9: They are such fun pets! I live in a suburb of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I'm a Georgia transplant who's been here for 5 years so I'm still getting used to snowy winters! :teeth: My hobbies are cooking, photography, and hanging out on the DIS boards :)

Good evening all 'losers'

I was reading the March issue of SELF magazine. They are starting a 3 month Challenge split into 3 parts. Part 1 is Burn Calories which involves 3 30 minute cardio workouts per week. Part 2 is Get Toned which is 2 25 minute strength sessions per week and Part 3 is Eat Healthy.

This challenge seems to be less stringent than the Ophra's bootcamp challenge.

Anyone interested in joining me in this challenge. :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: You can sign up or get additional information at self.com.

Let's keep losing and getting healthier :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

I am SO glad it's Friday - seems we've all had our challenges and obstacles this week - but I'm so proud of us... because we're all still here!

Focusing on a healthy lifestyle has been a lifesaver (literally) for me. Yup, there are potholes here and there on this journey - but the question is: what do we do when we're in a pothole? Pull ourselves out!

Congratulations all for staying the course - tomorrow is another day!

Have a great weekend!

Iris

Another day to pursue our healthier livestyle :sunny: :sunny:
