12/30 & 12/31 2019 Magic Kingdom Dessert Party Watch Thread - NOW BOOKABLE!!

12/30/2019 and 12/31/2019 NYE Fireworks Dessert Parties are available for booking!

Thank you. Thank you. Thank you! I must have checked 20 times in the last 3 days. I figured they would be posted any day now.

Just booked 12/30 and 12/31!

I booked for the late plaza viewing on 12/30, but am now doubting myself. Is everyone selecting the TT or the GP version?

I booked the GP. It’s nice to have the seating with the Terrace but I think the view is a bite better from the garden and with the surrounding fireworks I think some of that would be hidden by the roof on the Terrace.

Unable to sleep because something was nagging at me. After an hr it finally dawned on me that Dis IT was too ridiculously inefficient to have charged me for 6 adults (my boys turn 10 next month).

Sure enough, I had to cancel, age up my boys & taking a beating on the exchange transaction and rebook :furious: Between this and the premium band debacle I need a vacation from Dis tech.

I'm a little concerned - I noticed other people posted they got a party at 10:15, but my reservation says 10:45. I have a TT reservation on 12/30 - is it the difference between Plaza and TT? Or are there different times for the same party?
TIA!

After dinner we will try to hit Adventureland for a bit and then head out and watch the fireworks from just outside MK or maybe ride the monorail over to the GF and watch the show from there.
@mdsouth This plan is completely do-able. On 12/30, we watched the early show from inside the park. At about 11:15pm we made a split-second decision to head out and watch the late show from the boat dock at the GF. We had traveled that day and were getting tired and wanted to avoid the crush of people exiting after the midnight fireworks. We had no trouble getting down Main Street. In fact, we joined some of the dancing folks here and there along the way, and even stopped for a couple of photopass photos which had shockingly short waits (these photos were great, with the "frozen" castle in the background and the searchlight/spotlights coming up out of the castle). They look very "New Years". We walked to the boat launch area (why take the mono, where you have to stop at the Contemporary, the TTC and the Poly, before getting to the GF... and then hike all the way through the GF to the boat dock?). We got on a boat pretty quick, and had a super quick ride to the GF dock. We found a seat on the bench at the boat dock, which surprised me. Quite a few people joined us in time for the midnight show, but it was by no means "crowded". I was shocked. The view was terrific. (Note - on 12/31, the GF boat dock area was completely packed all the way up to Narcoosee's by about 11:30pm.) (Second note: the GF boat dock was quite chilly one year and pretty comfortable another year.)

We are booked for GV on 12/30 at 5:00. How many people fit into the designated area?
Where’s the best spot for a little one to be able to see? We don’t want to put him on shoulders because of other guests being blocked. TIA
