12/24/08 Christmas Cruise on the Wonder

Hallelujah!! I remembered what I was going to ask!! WOOHOO!!

I saw another thread where a lady was doing scrapbooking and saw this idea that her group of people did (on the cruise meet like us). They came up with a logo complete with a name of their group (or our nickname for the cruise...whatever) and made shirts with them to wear on the cruise. It was neat to see everyone doing it that had met on the thread. She even had a onesie made with the logo on it. There is iron on transfer paper that you can put through your printer.

Any thoughts?!?

Great idea! Who is going to design it though? I completely suck in that department. Any artiste's in the group? Brendalee should name it as she started the thread My only idea is it would be neat to to include something in the logo representing where each of us reside eg: here it might be a pic of the Calgary Tower or something related to the Calgary Stampede or mountains. Is their something unique to your area? Pretty good eh considering I have not had a cup of coffee yet

Trust me on this. I don't have an artsy crafty bone in my body. Artiste? I think NOT Nope not even close. I don't even replace buttons. It would look like something a two yr old out together. Besides, my family won't wear them. We took a group cruise with our church a couple years ago. I had to practically force them to wear our group shirts from the TA long enough for the picture. And now they are older,and even more opinionated,if it's possible. I swear, sometimes I wonder how I can be so different. I totally LOVE being part of a group.

That's cute. After thinking about it, I'm not sure DH, DD, or DS would do it either. But, Annette did have a great idea with personalizing it with something that represents each one of us. Maybe we could do some personalized koozies or something. I know I would use a koozie. Or those Nike style backpacks not necessarily that brand but you get my drift. The backpacks that are just a bag with the drawstring that you pull and slip your arms through.

me no artsy fartsy either. and i wouldnt have the slightest idea how to do it on koozies.

as for the fe's....there are two ladies on ebay who post some up. they get sold and then make and post more. gradysmommy and ilvdisney2008. the second one seems more willing to customize but i could be wrong

Exactly the size of a regular credit card. I am still carrying mine in my wallet because I am too lazy to find someplace else to put it.

I have our KTTWC from 2000 in a shoe box with pictures. I still have two of my RCCL cards in my wallet. Same reason as you. Too lazy to find someplace toput them

I sent my ADR requests in to our DU agent Thursday. I haven't heard anything from her,and tomorrow is our 180 day mark. Should I email her again, hope she got it and makes them for us, or make them myself? I sure don't want to end up with double cirque tickets She usually always doubles checks with me before spending our money,but she has also missed emails due to storms and such.

Adrianna's agenda. Just have to set the alarm for early in the AM.

Breakfast and dinner buffet are included with our package at SOG. We get a 20% recently deployed discount, so if we just eat the breakfast we more than break even. Still, dinner is half the fun of WDW. Too bad the MK has such uninspired restaurants... and we did Cindy's Castle in January.

I get homicidal if I have to be in the parks at midday. I may just pray for some rain, as well. The best day we ever had at WDW was a rainy day in February. We rode every single ride in the MK in less than 6 hours. No lines, we walked straight onto every ride.

I would certainly call her or send another email with a read receipt requested. Would doing everything yourself but getting the cirque tickets make it to where you might not get the cirque tickets? I'm not familiar with doing those.
