12/24/08 Christmas Cruise on the Wonder

180 days out from your arrival. Tomorrow for Brenda and I, Tuesday for you and Annette.

Nighty-night gals.

Adrianna

Sorry I wasn't more specific. We are set to arrive the 21st though....So I think we can do ours tomorrow. At least my countdown clock says so. I'll double check.

I meant what time

I would certainly call her or send another email with a read receipt requested. Would doing everything yourself but getting the cirque tickets make it to where you might not get the cirque tickets? I'm not familiar with doing those.

What is the earliest we can start making reservations??

No, it shouldn't effect anything. I'm not to worried about it.We only have 4 ADRs. 2 for breakfast at Kona Cafe, one for Sci Fi Drive In,(4:45 pm)and one for Planet Hollywood. (4:00 pm) I don't expect these to go too quickly. Most of our meals will be counter service.

Gotcha! I went and double checked. Went to pscalculator.net and figured it out too. That's a great site!! Gave me all my dates....Now if I can just write them down somewhere and not forget they are there. :lmao:

Gosh, you're beginning to sound like me:rotfl2: Our DU agent sent me an email with all our dates. I saved it ito a folder in my mailbox.:lmao: Next up, DCL ressies 105 days out ....9/10:banana:

Yeah, it stinks doesn't it? I know it's because I have too much on my plate. Maybe one day I will catch up.

As for the DCL ressies 105 days out....lucky girl. I have to wait until a month later. According to my PS calculator, your 105 day date is off. It should be 9/7/08.

Not that I am trying to help you take all my ressies.....JK

Don't you guys know how big of a dork I am?? ::yes::

I punched in 12/21/08 to find out about when I can do ADRs and then used those same dates for DCL. What an idiot.....

I am really doing too much right now. Figuring out how to do all this, doing some pre-course work for a cpr instructor class, organizing bills, filing papers....ALL at the same time. NO WONDER I got all screwed up. :headache:

We do now:rotfl2: :lmao: :duck:

Our DU agent got back to me this morning. All ADRs are made, and we got what we wanted. Except Planet Hollywood. Appears, they don't accept reservations this far out:confused3

Well, I'm off for my water areobics class. Yipppeee, I can get back on my schedule now! I have a few things to do afterward( like get the Corolla tags/tax/title :scared1: but I'll be back this afternoon. Have a Wonderful day everyone!pixiedust: :wave2:

Well, since Shades of Green is not technically a Disney Resort (it is leased from Disney by the Department of Defense), I will be calling back every morning to make my reservation 180 days out as we are apparently not afforded the 180+10 of WDW resort guests. So far, so good, though... I think I'm shifting our first two dinners somewhat. Narcoossee's doesn't open until 5:30 and by the time we had a sit down dinner finished it would be dark in the parks. We always try to have dinner between 4:00-4:30 so that we can hit the parks for the evening with a full belly about the time everyone else is going home.

For the 20th I got us into the character meal at Liberty Tree Tavern at 4:00. I think I will try to get an early dinner at Ohana tomorrow morning for the 21st. The rest of my game plan stays the same for now. All of the restaurants at the GF open later for dinner, so I may not get to stop there this voyage. As hubby reminds me, it's not like this will be our last trip to WDW or anything...

I think I'm going to like being on the monorail. We can come and go between MK and Epcot and the resort very quickly. I want to do MK at night too. I'm hoping it won't be too crowded since they won't be having MVMCP,and is open till 11 pm We will probably do Splash Mountain during the day. Last time we were there at Christmas, it got pretty chilly during the parade at night.

I got our cirque tickets for the 6 pm show on the 23rd. :yay: Even got to choose our seats. Not the best in the house, but not nose bleed seats either.
I keep changing my mind about Ohana. One minute I think It looks good, and the next I don't:confused3 Imagine if we had to make ADRs for an entire week? I'd be a basket case:rotfl2:

Well I got my CP pkg today! Today I also started part 3 of my mid life crisis mommy makeover. I have made a goal to reach my goal weight by April 17, 2009! Hopefully I will be at the halfway point by the cruise!:cool1:

Oh maw gawd!:worship: I just went and reviewed this. I have emailed DU to be put on the booking list:banana:

I know, right?!? Which booking list? Do you have to pick a specific itinerary now? Since I just started all this, I have never dealt with DU. I have used a local travel agent once but haven't taken any other big trips. What's so special?

Oh, and Brenda.....thanks for the comment about knowing how much of a dork I am.

I hope the phones open early enough for me to make a ressie before surgery starts tomorrow.

Annette, what is CP? Still waiting for your pic of your new hair. I myself am trying to keep the ball rolling on my goal weight. Hopefully I will have met it by the cruise. Should be able to if I stay away from the goodies everyone brings to work. DD is working out with me now so I have good motivation. I told her to be stern with me. I think she likes the power.::yes::

We have booked with DU before. Just a really great TA to work with. I will give you the details by pm.
The hair! Ok I am on it! I completely forgot! The tattoo is on Thursday!
CP (Candlelight Processional) Package. We booked it with the 6:45 performance and it includes a meal we picked Tutto Italia.:goodvibes
We will usually travel during spring break so it might be our last chance for quite some time to see CP again.

Never seen it. I'll have to see it someday. Never eaten at Tutto Italia but I hear it's great!!

Unfortunately our travel is limited as well. Of course there is always summer but I have to switch major holidays with my boss who does the same job I do. One of us always has to be there. She has taken the past two spring breaks (although our kids arent in the same school district it is the same week) and I convinced her to split this coming spring break. I would like the next one all to myself. Maybe I'll see you on the flip side if you know what I mean. :rolleyes1

Cirque is cool. I got to see them for the first time in April! You know even if you have a bad meal somewhere chalk it up to an adventure and go with it. Next time you can always eat somewhere else if you want!:thumbsup2
