Almost packed. I know I say that everyday :lmao:

Only one more day of work!! That's a good thing :)

Very windy here - just lost the cable on the TV. Next i'll lose the computer. They are expecting 70-90 mph winds Friday between 3-8am. Just the time we will be leaving for the airport and taking off - no delays PLEASE :worship:
Oh gosh that sounds scary! I hope eveything goes okay for you and your family Susan...and especially no flight delays! (I know how awful those are... :sad2: )

No Delays.... pixiedust: ...for anyone! :sunny:

Has anyone tried to print part or all of Angela's Calendar? Why can't I get it to work? :badpc: :badpc:

We are! Why do you say "was" rather than "is"...?

So sorry----I should have said "Is"----somewhere in the recesses of my mind I thought I remembered someone mentioning it. We are now booked for it as well. We are doing the regular eco tour not the circumnavigate. How bout you? There will be myself, DH, DS10, DS7, DD4, grandma 79.

If Kat's weather men are correct it may be "was". Anyway it looks like a blast.

I am still trying to decide what to do on St. Maarten. I think we will go to a beach somewhere. I am not really interested in Orient. Maho seems far but anyone have any opinions for young kids????I was checking out the brand new Westin. It opens this week.

It was beautiful here in Orlando today.

I have not packed one solitary thing yet----hopefully tomorrow.

Night all!

Serena - I copied each page and pasted it into a word doc. It was easier and took up less pages.

Omg! Can you guys believe the cruise is so close. Its hard to believe that I just have tomorrow and then we leave friday night. Better hurry to get ready! Cant wait to see everyone soon:cool1:

We have a DH, DS10, and a grandma 79 coming in our group, too (and DS13 and DD8)! I asked them about the wisdom of taking my mom. She is physically capable but moves kind of slowly. They assured me that it would be fine. We are doing the regular eco tour. I got travelers checks essentially just for that tour. Otherwise, we wouldn't be carrying very much money.

OK, I thought about that, just wasn't patient enough to do it last night!

Morning everyone! Wow, are we getting close, or what? :teeth:

Still lots to do for me. Have one crisis to resolve, my nail place cancelled my pedicure appointment-guess the girl was sick. That can be resolved easily, though, Atlanta has nail salons on every corner. They just aren't all licensed. :sad2:

Also have a couple more loads of laundry...boys are still wearing things they need for the trip..we're back to shorts weather, and somehow they managed to find pairs that they want to take. :sad2:

Have to get the boys to make a few last minute calls, and pack their personal stuff for the car trip (books, games, whatever they can't live without.) DS16 had a project and final today, and has two finals tomorrow, but he'll have to take a break and do it, right? ;) We'll all be waiting for him to get home so we can go. The other two are down to play days at school. Middle schooler finished last tests yesterday.

OK, going to get off...need to pay some bills, get that last laundry going, figure outnail thing, etc. etc.

And seriously, I wouldn't worry about the chances of rain unless it is over 40 or 50 percent. During the Summer in Atlanta, SC, Georgia, etc. there is a chance of rain about every day. It usually doesn't, but with the warm temperatures and humidity it is always possible. I'm telling myself THAT is what they mean! pixiedust: Even if it does rain it is often just a quick shower that has evaporated 30 minutes later!

That is so awesome. Maybe we can introduce our moms earlier in the cruise so they can have some company. My mom usually hangs out more at the Quiet Cove pool and likes to play bingo, sometimes do the culinary thingamajigs.....

You have the same birth order we do. 2 boys and a girl last. Are they still protective of her even at 8?

Anyone have any suggestions for ST. Maarten?

Good morning everyone! Two more days!!!! And we leave tomorrow night!!!

For those that are keeping track of room numbers, emmyjules let me know that her room number is different than what I had. Her room number is 6010 (NOT 6100). I will be putting her stocking on the correct door so you will be able to find the right room, but wanted to let folks know as well.

As for St. Maarten, DH is diving and DD and I are doing the Sea and See excursion.

Got all the bills (ours and Mom's) paid yesterday so that is done, just need to mail them at lunch time today. Started a load of laundry this morning. Tonight I will put it in the dryer so hopefully I can get that packing done before going to bed. I need to make a list for the woman who is housesitting for us and another for DB who is coming in next week. Still need to get gift for SIL (DB's wife, not the one we had problems with). I will do that tomorrow right after work. And need to find a skateboard for DD. She REALLY wants one so I think Santa will leave it for her. Wow, so much still to do and nowhere near enough time!!!

I have reached overload :scared: My husband keeps telling me what we haven't done and we have his Christmas party at 4pm until ???? (they have a theater show starting at 8:30). Somehow I need to order flowers for mom's and grandmom's (mine is 101 and DH's is 91). I thought I had all the paperwork together and my HD rearranged it and it is not longer in one place. I asked about it and he said we will take care of it when we get home tonight! Midnight!!!??? What was he thinking?? :sad2:

We have to leave home at 3:30am tomorrow morning to drop off the car and then shuttle to the airport for our 6am flight.

Panic has set in and I still have to get through the day with 126 junior high students

:faint:

St Maarten's I am doing the Lotterie Farm w/kids. DH is diving.

St Thomas - Blackbeards Castle w/ kids DH diving

St Lucia - Pirate ship Arrrh!

Antigua - Seafari

Key West - DH and DD16 Kayaking, DS14 and me - tour of city and then Key Lime pie and a drink!

I just keep thinking about all the things I need to do and then I start stressing. :sad2: I have to study some more for biology and I have yet to study for statistics, I need to pack EVERYTHING cause I haven't started yet, a little bit of cleaning, there needs to be some eating of food in there... :rotfl:

Oh yeah...and I need to sell back all of my books before 7 PM (I know no matter what time I go there will be a lot of people selling their books) and print out my plane tickets.

Oh yeah, printing out boarding passes....I almost forgot about that!!! I will do that at home this evening, I think. Still more than 24 hours from flight time so cannot do it yet :( .

It is POURING here. I always think about all of those people out in the parks. It sure is miserable to be there in weather like this. Oh well, its only Thursday. SURVIVOR tonight.

Good afternoon everyone!!

Been busy just like all of you. Have an appointment with DD after school and sports banquet and band concert all this evening. Won't get home till after 10:00 p.m. and then have to wash the clothes my DS wore to the concert and pack them. Think I'll be up late.

Tomorrow I'll pack the last minute things, and make DH take the dog to the kennel (I would cry too much if I had to take her--she's my buddy!). We'll head out around 12:30.

In case I don't check back in with you all....everyone have a safe trip, see you on the ship!!! Don't forget, me and DD will be wearing our "Christmas lights" necklaces.

St. Martin--just going to Great Bay beach by the pier. Last time we did the rhino riders. I screamed everytime we went over a wave!! Drove my DS crazy!! He rode with me.

Judy

Okay...so I've got MOST of my stuff packed...just a few last minute things like toothbrush/paste that I can't pack til tonight/tomorrow morning and stuff that are going in my carry-on. I still need it for my exams so I can't pack it up yet. I thought I was going to need my messenger bag AND backpack as carry-on's/purses but I MIGHT be able to make it with just one of them. And I'm not sure if my one suitcase is 50+ pounds. :guilty: It doesn't FEEL like it's as heavy as it was after Thanksgiving but I'm just scared I'm going to get to the airport and be SOL when it weighs more than 50...
I'm so stressed/overwhelmed right now. I'm trying to just relax and let everything slide til I calm down.
And like Kat I can't print out my boarding passes yet. My first flight is at 3:45 and the next one is at like 6:45 or something so I won't be able to print those til 7 oclock so I can print them both at the same time.

Yep, all of us going  trying to get stuff done!

Still finishing laundry, last load almost ready to go into dryer...

just wrapped boys Christmas gifts to each other...note to self, next year teach them to do it, even if they ARE boys...

Final bills to pay, touch base with house sitter, etc. etc. 10 year old has basketball... :sad2:

We leave tomorrow after DS16 finishes final exam. I don't know how we'll all do it, but we will. For those that I don't talk to again, travel safely and good luck on exams.

We can do it! :cheer2:
