We lived in Penndel for a while right after we were married - ya know those single bed times... Before we got fat and happy :rotfl2:

well i am signing off..i have to finish my video games thn go to bed..looking so forward to meeting everyone..
nite..

Morning all.... sounds like you all are having fun making signs. Where are you finding the Disney Christmas stuff? I have lots of pirate stuff for signs but haven't found much Disney stuff I like.

'Morning All :surfweb:

Just think...In 5 weeks we will be waking up on The Magic, heading into KW, meeting new friends (well, sorta new) for coffee and smelling the ocean....Ahhh :cloud9:

Happy Anniversary, Angela.

Robin - i agree, DCL excursions are so expensive. The first cruise we did, we did all DCL excursions. 2nd one we did all on our own (except the pirate excursion) and saved a ton of $$$$$ and time. With DCL, it's always, "hurry up and wait". It takes forever to get anywhere. The pirate excursion is nice because the Brig Unicorn is tied up on the same pier as Magic. It's a short walk down the plank pirate: pirate: :rotfl:

Julia had her sleepover birthday party Friday (yep, a little late) and I still have a lingering guest  We went to see Open Season at IMAX...very cute. Kat, do you remember Jordan's Furniture?? That's where IMAX is located now. Very cool store.

Mary Ann, no, where was Jordan's? we went into Cambridge and parts of Boston quite a bit but that name doesn't ring a bell at all.

Open Season?? No!!!! I have had no desire to see that one. So far we have avoided it, thank goodness. And Sam hasn't asked about SC3 yet. I am figuring it will be shown on the ship and we won't have to pay at the theatre to see it. It looks awful too. I was just happy I got my fix of POTC II again, finally!

Sam actually agreed to go shopping for a nice dress for one of the formal nights! I about fell over this morning! :faint: I may have to see if I can get her to go today before she changes her mind!

Jordan's Furniture started out as a little Mom & Pop furniture store in Waltham. The sons took it over and turned it into a store that sells more furniture per sq. foot than anywhere in the US. They are very well liked and respected around here because they give so much to local charities (not like Newman's Own, but still lots of $$$$$) They must have gotten big after you moved away.

Why so much hostility towards Open Season? :confused3 :rotfl: . Julia wants to see SC3 too. I told her the same thing...wait to see it on the ship. I'm just not a big Tim Allen fan and it is getting horrible reviews, so I will skip that one.

Not so much hostility as just the fact that I have no desire to see it. I got sooooo tired of the commercials they were doing during previews for other movies that I grew to dislike the characters without even seeing the movie and I cannot stand Ashton whats-his-face anyway. it's just one of those kids' movies I'd rather not see. She wants to see Flushed Away and I am just not sure about it either, the title alone scares me  !

Where is everyone this morning? I have started my :laundy: and am just chilling out waiting for my excedrin to kick in and get rid of the raging :headache: . I have been doing an inventory of all the stuff I have gathered up for the cruise so far and trying to figure out what I still need to get, etc. I feel like there is soooo much yet to do and still have to deal with Mom and getting her situation dealt with too. Hoping I can manage it all in the next 4+ weeks! :crazy2: It might drive me to :drinking1 !

Morning everyone...

Lots of pages to catch up on this morning!

Everybody has been busy making signs...

I have my ears, Jen/Kat's cool sign, and...I'm not sure yet! I have a couple of ideas but haven't done much about them..

But you WILL be proud of me--I have been doing Christmas shopping, and my goal is to have all gifts that have to be mailed (all of families) ready to send right before Thanksgiving! I think I'm going to make it!

Mary Ann, it's funny that you just did Julia's party. I think her birthday and Kev's were the same week? His party is today! :rotfl:

They are having a Laser Tag party, and he's going to have about 20 friends there--only one person declined. Unfortunately, several of the parents had conflicts (out of town, neighborhood tennis doubles event) so we're driving about 8 of them.... :scared1: They'll all be here around 2:30, so I've got some things to do first....

Everyone have a good day, and meet me for cocktails this evening? :drinking1 You'll have to buy, 'cause the party will have drained all my money! ;)

Good luck with the thing with your mom Kat! I'll save enough to buy one for you and me tonight! :drinking1 :drinking1

Christmas cheer is spreading!!!!!

I have already gotten my christmas cards addressed. My goal is to get them all mailed by Thanksgiving. I have to finish my Christmas shopping but still have no clue what to get DB and his wife! The $85 tea kettle just isn't happening!!!!! :lmao:

No christmas cheer here yet. bah humbug

33 days until we leave!!! Can't come fast enough. Shopped the last two days! Only DH as to get some more stuff, everyone else is okay. Now to get it all put together.
