Hi Jen!

Welcome Booksw :welcome:

There is a thread where we have 10 - 12 year olds posting...they are usually just using our screen names....if he wants to go say hi send him to:

http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=881173 I hope that worked.

I see you are from Charleston--that's such a great area. We vacation frequently at Fripp and Hilton Head--love the lowcountry!

I've had quite enough of 10 year olds. At 2:30 they started arriving at my house, at 3:00 we left to drive to a Laser Tag place for my sons birthday party. Some met us there, and we ended up with 18 of them plus my husband and my 14 and 16 year old son. Then we drove a lot of them back...the last one left just about 6:45.

Cocktails anyone? (Non-alcoholic for our Jen.) :drinking1

Welcome everyone. Nick finally finished - his paper was soo boring my husband and I fell asleep and just woke from our nap :lmao: :lmao:

Making dinner. Uggh. Figured I'd catch up here while I cooked, but not much going on today.

DH and I had a wonderful time putting the magnets on our door signs this morning. Took a picture of him with his homemade ears but could not get it to add on my signature. Oh well.

I have been refreshing the last page over and over and only just realized that the conversation was going on without me (for 3 hours...) oh well

Thank goodness that my son can go to the Stack. He has been looking forward to that "status"! What kinds of things have you done, Magiroux, to get ready for the cruise?

Actually, not much.

I was able to put my wardorobe together. I am a little depressed because I found the most awsome dress at the White & Black Store, but alas, not in my size. I called the catalog and they say it will 7-10 days just to see if they can locate it. I just said nevermind - I will make do with what I have and $178.

I have a box ready to pack to ship to the port, just not much in it :goodvibes .

I work better under pressure

We love Charleston. Do any of you watch birds? We've been doing a bit of bird watching this weekend.

I never thought of shipping stuff to the ship. That's a great idea.

oh i'll take an alcoholic one

Me too. Just setting down with my XL glass of wine to prepare for my exciting evening of Deperate Housewives.

I tried to put together a packing list today but I just got frustrated. I think I'll wait until around the 9th of Dec and just pack!

Yes, the address is on a stickey on the Main Cruise Page. I am trying to figure out how to ship a box to my resort for after the cruise. I'm staying at Orange Lake Country Club and they do not accept pkg's to be held for guests :furious: . Very inconvienent

Why would you need a lawyer to fight a speeding ticket???

Not officially, just out the window at home and at the beach.

I'll be joining you for that--DH and I enjoy that show! :happytv:

I can help with the sending of a package. Since I live in a rural area with rural post offices you can send it in care of the local post office to be picked up by you when you get there. People do that all the time. Especially people that travel in motorhomes and all. No home base just send c/o Post office for general delievery when you arrive.

it was actually a Reckless driving offense which results in a misdemeanor...EEEEEEKKK!! (<--max 12 months in jail and max $2500 fine) but i was only speeding...i wasn't driving recklessly
