It was the hair. It was so long and so pale blonde and the blonde male elves were so gender neutral to begin with.... When I saw Orlando in the first POTC movie I almost didn't recognize him because he looks so different without the wig, etc. Funny, though, he comes across as so much more self-assured and less bumbling in LOTR than in POTC!

Hey, if you haven't gotten your planning kit, check with DCL or your TA. I switched my reservation to DU so I contacted them yesterday and they just got back to me. DCL told them one had been sent out but since I haven't gotten it they will send another one out. So it seems we should all have gotten one by now and if you haven't then you will probably want to let them know! Woo hoo....getting closer!!!!!

Rented "The Libertine" tonight. Definitely not a movie for the younger crowd and not one I would care to watch again. I don't think it was supposed to be a comedy but we kept laughing. At one point his character was drunk and standing outside a window in the rain and he sounded so much like Jack that I had to make a comment. Then at one point I heard Norrington (of course I did, Jack Davenport is in it!) Then I recognized one of their other pals as Cutler Becket! It was too weird seeing the three of them playing drinking/whoring buddies. No thank you, not my cup of tea. I also have "Before Night Falls" which I will watch tomorrow night.

Good morning everyone!! Another hot and humid day here in the midwest!! They say it is supposed to rain and start to cool off a bit tomorrow. I will believe it when I see it. In the meantime, our company is one that volunteered to cut back on power consumption so yesterday morning they turned off the overhead lights and turned up the thermostat. As a result, they gave us a free casual day today. Shorts, yay! It is actually a comfortable temperature in here for once rather than the refrigerator it usually is!

Oh my gosh, tell me about it! I'm usually freezing and wearing my jacket! And then my boss will come by sweating and fanning herself and asks me if I'm hot. Then she'll say well you're probably not...this is one of the complications when getting older.

my horse loves her fans. She's got 2 box fans on her stall at all times. She spreads out her legs and stands with her face towards them.

Our dog is very skiddish of fans too! The heater too! Anything that blows air and makes a sound! Yeah I've got a fan on in the garage for my bunny too. It has 3 settings and I usually have it on 2 cause it's been in the 90s for what seems like a month...but my dad keeps turning it back to 1...

my horse hated the fan at first until she realized it made her feel better. she freaked out when i hung the second one but now she loves them both. and as much as she hates water she loves when it mists. My spoiled Boo.

I am soooooo tired this morning. I could not sleep last night. I stayed up late watching POTC 1 then couldn't sleep so I cruised the net for a while then tried to sleep again. Glad DH and DD will be home today, that is for sure!

It is looking dark and ominous out there today but it is still very hot and humid out there. Hopefully it will cool off like they say it is supposed to!

Hey all,

Man stay cool...and hydrate. We are in a repreve right now. Its only been in the high 80's lately.

DD3 is sick today and I have to prepare for a presentaion for tomorrow.

So do they offer cooking classes on the cruise?
Or is it the wine class? OOH I'm up for that.
