12/16/06 10-day holiday cruise Part 2

Oh man Kat. I wish we had that price again. I think we saw $3.18 about 6 months ago.

we just hit $3 this week. But cali is so expensive. Where my aunt lives, its like almost $4.

and Klife, a paintball gun is nothing like the Desert Eagle, Kimber, Beretta, and now Sig that my boyfriend owns. The DE is the standard issue for the Israeli police. lol. Don't think paintball guns cut it in the middle east.

Whoa, our overnight temp actually got down to about 65 degrees!!!!

Went to see Miami Vice last night, not impressed. Didn't realize that Naomie Harris (Tia Dalma) was in it. Didn't recognize her but I sure recognized her voice (despite the lack of accent). At one point I joked with DH that her psychic abilities must come with the makeup 'cause they sure deserted her in this movie! DH doesn't understand how I recognize voices. I'm not sure how I do either but I always have.

im the same way. i hear voices and go OMG! its the person from movie X. really bad with names.


Our overnight temp last night was still 75. I was able to turn the horses out, but it still was a tad hot for them. The barn was even more roasty than outside.

Well, due to "an offer I couldn't refuse", we have decided to switch from the Holiday Cruise to the 10-day Southern. It is hard to think of not being with all of you after getting to know you, but we looked at the pros and cons of both choices and decided this was really what we needed to do.

So, I guess my Desert Island guys are "up for grabs" (hehe). Unfortunately, at this late date the Brig Unicorn for that cruise is of course sold out . I am going to need to make some quick decisions about excursions. I will give you a report when I get back. Have a great cruise!

I think I might wait until after the September cruise to cancel our ressie, so if you are interested I will let you know when I am going to do it so you can watch for the room to come available.

Hey All

Just got back from WDW. Had a great trip and I am definately going to sleep the next couple of days to recover. I'd complain about the summer Florida heat, but fact is, it was hotter here in Mass while I was gone than Florida most of the time.

Well, you know you've been on vacation too long when..........Julia just went to the bathroom and when she went to wash her hands she just kept waving them under the faucet waiting for the water to come on via sensor ...she came out the bathroom roaring at herself . No dear, back to reality....you actually have to turn a handle .

I haven't had time to catch up on the thread, but I did catch that you're jumping ship, Carol. I am very sad to hear that , but I hope you have a great time on the 10 day southern. I hope some day in the future we will cruise together .


Well, I'm gonna go pass out now. Supposed to go to a birthday party tomorrow for a two year old, but I just might have to blow it off in favor of a little rest.

Nope, better yet, get your NCIS friends to sneak us all on the cruise and keep us "under the radar" for the duration. Hey, Carol, if you just upgrade to the Walt Suite we can all hide out in your cabin ('ole buddy, 'ole pal) .
