So who would be on our shortlist of entertainment on the 10 day? Who are you tired of seeing on board?

I went to the Rich Purpura show on the 1/28/06 cruise. I think it was the same show I saw on the 12/04 cruise! Still made me chuckle.

Happy V Day everyone!! DH got home from his sleep study and ran back out to get donuts and brought home flowers for me and DD, what a sweety. :teeth:

I am sick today. I was up half the night. We had a nice birthday dinner out for DH yesterday and I threw it all up. So I am staying home and hoping to feel better so I can go to the BB King concert tonight. I hate feeling like c**p.

Happy Valentines Day all!

Kat I do hope you feel better. You have it all out of your system now and will feel better by the time to go to the concert. :wizard:

Morning everyone and Happy Vday. Whew----lots of valentines preparations for school. I am glad that is done.

Okay so the way I have calculated this 27000 post thing is approximately 75 per day. Is that do-able?

GaRry what are you resting up today before Vicki comes home? Where are you?

My short list would probably include Taylor Mason. What a nice guy. I think I know his routine by heart by he still makes me roll. My kids love him. I like how he brings his family and mingles. Geez---I hope they don't read this but I am pretty tired of Rich Purpura, Gary Delena, Michael Harrison, Can't they trade with another line to bring us new entertainers?

What about unobtainable desired entertainers? Mine would be for music Toby Keith, Kenny Chesney, for comedy maybe some of the old SNL favorites.

I kind of agree about Purpura and Delaney. At least they should write some new material every year or so.

Toby Keith and Kenny Chesney? Those would be good!

Kat---how are you now that you have had a few hours? Are you better? I hope so.

I am tired of all the shows but Disney Dreams. Actually, I wish that they would get rid of Movie Night, and some of the variety performers. I like the welcome aboard and farewell shows, but only the parts that are acted out (not the variety performers like comedians or magicians). I wish they would develop new shows to match some of the more recent disney movies. I think the golden mickey's should go as well, as much as i enjoy that. If they don't vary who they show, then it gets boring. I really really hope they feature new movies like Bambi II and even live action movies like Pirates or National Treasure. I loved those movies. Anything with Jerry Bruckheimer rocks my mynocks. anywho, i've got to go back to doing something useful with my time here in school. lol. i will talk to you all when i get back from vacation. I am almost positive i will not have access to a computer so bye all!

(p.s.) mynocks are creatures from Star Wars

Hey guys, thanks for the thoughts. I slept all morning and had some soup and then a long soak in a hot tub. I still feel weak and my throat is killing me. I will try to nap again before we go to the show tonight.

Hi everyone!

Kat--hope you're felling better soon.

Just found out the kids Christmas break schedule for this year (they'll all be at the same high school). Luckily, the dates match up with the cruise so it's a definate go!!!

Booked our air ( we wanted specific non-stop flights). We are flying down the night before and arriving at 9:20 p.m. We'll be staying at the Embassy Suites by the airport (they have a free shuttle that will take us from MCO to the hotel and they have breakfast). Then we'll take a limo to the port in the a.m. We'll be doing disney transfers for the return so we don't have to drag aroung our luggage. My TA made all these suggestions and reservations for me so hopefully everything will be fine.

Ok guys what about a pre cruise meet in Orlando? Lots of yummy places here.

GaRry we were debating about whether to try later ourselves. I know everyone is excited to get there but it seems like everyone is saying
1. You can come early around 9:30-10 and wait til 12:00 to board or
2. you can come art 12:00-1:00 and walk right on.

Anyone heard anything different? Seems like a no brainer to me.

I guess now they issue "boarding numbers", issued dependent upon how early you arrive at port. I don't know much about it. I was planning on looking more into it when it got closer to cruise time.

Sue, you just cruised...do you have any input as to how it differs from "the old way" of boarding?

I am going to fly in the night before (with NorthEast weather, ya just can't cut it that close), so I would certainly be up for a breakfast meet.

WOW I'm REALLY LOSING IT,
I could of GOT A TOP SLIPPING.

YEAP I think I like the getting there later, THAT EARLY STUFF GOT REALLY OLD

I also went ahead and purchased airfare because there were specific flights I wanted. We will be arriving early Friday morning and are planning to spend the day at either Blizzard Beach (if the weather is nice) or DD (Disneyquest); those are two of DS's favorite WDW activities. Then spend the night at POFQ and take the DCL bus to port. We might be able to meet for dinner or breakfast somewhere.
