Willie and Lampy,
Nothing wrong with that unless you wind up "passed out in an upper deck hallway " while your significant other gets thrown from the balcony and leaves a horrible mess on the awning.

Alright sorry that was gross---I just think she is flaky and probably lying. Sounds like they were big partiers.

I remember any one playing brought an ornament. I have played this several ways, unlimited 'stealing' and also setting a limit on it. It was a lot of fun.

Thats cool Lynda --my boys are also animal lovers and will enjoy socializing with Cash as I would too. :

Well, I have always set aside "off duty" time for the DIS group and will probably ask for more assistance from interested DISers during his training sessions....The Repo group helped me teach him to read the command "turn around" and formed a small cheering section when he displayed his reading skills at the talent show.... What a ham! No wonder he's so stuck up...:confused3

Lynda loved your joke about half the frame but it took me awhile ---mind is working slow today.I am still trying to get my photo albums caught up. I did get my shutters photos framed and hung. They did some of my kids that came out better than this world famous photographer here in Orlando. (the white background ones not the characters) :

Good for you! I'm still working on restarting my ambition to get back to working on my 2003 Disney half marathon WDW trip photos......Funny how life manages to intrude... Good news about your pics! On the repo cruise the white background ones taken of Cash proved to be less flattering than the candid ones taken by the "lanyard people" from the DIS...too bad! I didn't even see the special Duckey pictures...Good thing...My credit card stopped working toward the end of the cruise and I didn't get it straightened out until I got home....Too late! The Duckey ones I did get from the two cruises really turned out nice framed, though.

HAY ALL
Okay heres my story,
My little sister was killed in a car wreck in '76, to help others I started giving blood. In 1984 I became a firefighter, 86 - 88 I took the shots for Hepatitis. Sept. 23, '89 we had a fire in a warehouse with aluminum and vinyl stored in it , (it was the day after my son was born so I remember the date). There was 3 of us that were treated at the hospital for smoke inhalation & cyanide toxicity during the fire. A few others were treated too. Of the 3, I have liver problems, 1 has bad lungs, 1 retired with bad kidneys, of the others treated that day, 1 retired with liver problems and he sees the same transplant team as I do. The ED that treated me has NO record of me being treated that night, & there is NO accident report of us go to the hospital that night. The smoke from this same fire damage the chrome and paint on a couple of the fire trucks.
A few years later the red cross told me I could not give blood anymore with NO explanation why. About the same time I started to have lots of itching & look a bit yellow (jaundice) my family doctor sent me to a specialist, -> liver enzymes are way off, started me on a lot of pills that were supposed to help. Didn't really help so... then to a gastroenterologist who did a liver biopsy and treated me with lots more pills, still got worse the itching and the fatigue, and yellow. Then.... to the transplant doctor and more pills,
Now the transplant Dr. changed my pills again and does not think it will help so he will start paper work for the transplant list next visit end of June,
SO everyone on my last cruise who thought I was mad or unsociable when I just left the dinner table with out saying anything THIS was why . I was just so fatigued A few knew the problem I had. I just wanted too have a nice cruise and to enjoy it. Not having cruisers all worried about me every time I wanted MORE COFFEE, I have NOTHING anyone has to worry about catching. I still like hugs, chit chatting, COFFEE, and lots of chocolate!!!!
The doctors have a couple of names for what I have one says it is Primary Biliary Cirrhosis the other Auto-Immune Cholangiopathy. Anyone that is A- and doesn't need their liver give me a call. That is anyone but StaCey. I don't mind talking about it just DON'T feel SORRY for me.
The Doctors cannot tell me when , where ,how why, I have this just that ITS NOT JOB RELATED ???????

So I'm hoping this answers a lot of ????? Anyone might have????? But ask away if you have any.

And I SO feel the love!
Can I help it if mine's pickled after all those margaritas???

Garry, I believe I am A- too but I am diabetic, have high blood pressure and high cholesterol so they probably wouldn't let you have even part of mine!!!! They have never let me give blood, been diabetic since I was 9 years old.

I promise I won't feel sorry for you if you don't feel sorry for me, how's that for a deal??

Sorry garry. I have a really rare blood type. I have AB-. It's one of the rarest in the world. Means I hope i never have to recieve blood. lol.

GaRry--I will pray for a blessing of a great donor and quick healing to come to you. I don't think anyone will pity you or did, I feel compassion for one anothers rollercoaster rides is an innate thing we have been given. None of us are without problems of some sort. Some maybe physical, some emotional, some spiritual.... You know there was a big class action lawsuit here a few years ago because the city destroyed records of firefighters. I don't know what happened in the end but these guys had to go to city hired physicians for their healthcare. They knew many of them had debilitating diseases such as liver problems, hep c, lung problems...Well, the problem came that the city didn't want the responsibility of taking care of these workplace caused diseases so they never told the firefighters and destroyed the records.(and obviously slipped the docs some money) I don't mean to criticize the docs my DH and I are both in medicine but the did hire the most unscrupulous people they could find. The firefighters only found out after they were well beyond the initial stagesand most responsive stages.

GaRry --how long is the average wait time? Is it a national list or a state list?

Judy

GaRry --are you outside of DTW? That is where my DH trained. Henry Ford, Beaumont, St. Johns or Detroit Receiving?

That just makes me even more appreciative of the sacrifices you firefighters make in the work you do. It is appalling to hear these stories of how little the government does to take care of you.

:thanks: Thank you, gaRry. :firefight

I often give blood and have also started donating platelets which I think are used for people who have had transplants. Now I am even more compelled to give more often, so I can represent for those of us who are not able to.

GOOD MORNIN ALL

THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH. :grouphug:

DW & dd are at WDW for cheerleading so if anyones around let me know and I'll give you her cell number.
I already heard how W A R M it is there and N I C E and WELL you get the picture.

NOT MICHIGAN WEATHER

There are only National Lists. There usually aren't state lists unless a crisis develops (9/11 or Katrina), but they are dissolved as soon as the people will fit onto the national list. The waiting period will vary depending on the type of transplant that is required (cadaveric, living-donor, auxiliary), blood type, the severity of the illness, and height and weight.

wow....I hope this post finds everyone W*E*L*L!!! Looks like we got a lotta banged up folks out there who need a prayer, compassion & results!

Willie, hope your DD is on the mend.

My DD is at the P.T. 2x weekly---for her knees/legs. She is thin, and all muscle and we have some pains we have to take care of.

GaRry...my bestest friend went thru a trans. (heart) when my DS was under 1 yr.....IT WILL HAPPEN! Just a matter of when.... :hourglass

I was diagnosed w/a brain tumor in Jul."96. In-op. Thank my God and my lucky stars for each day. I was only 29 when I was diagnosed....with two little kids at the time, under 5 yrs old! Sometimes life sucks but there is always tomorrow....I sometimes get 'frustrated' with 'stupid people' and my fuse can be short. But I was told by many docs that is okay....It's best for me to 'blow' and let it go... I don't go for the pity S*@& either. But compassion is always welcomed....

Anyone on a diet out there? Geez, I'd LOVE to drop pounds for this trip!

take it easy
Christine

Hello again....

DD Brianna started a thread...."teenboards for Christmas Cruise 2006"

She hasn't received a single reply!

So, all of you who have teenagers....jump on the boards! Maybe the kids can get to know each other a little bit before our big vacations! :cool1:

Christine

Hi All - Waiting to see what the track of the expected n'oreaster will be. A little to the east would make me happy (snow would miss us).
