GaRry check out this article; Alright I admit I live in flipiflops and shorts. I love 70s and 80s temps. Thats why we left Michigan. Winter never seemed to end ----except of course when the rainy spring started. But seriously it is supposed to dip down to 32 tonight and tomorrow.

Where are all our west coasters? Is it still too early for y"all?

We are headed to west coast ---anybody ever gone shark tooth hunting?My kids love going. We usually go to Venice FL, or Englewood. There is this cool resort Palm Island I have been wanting to go to for years and so finally we are. It is near Boca Grande, Captiva....You jet around on golf carts. I guess your car rides over on a car ferry but you park it at a reception center. It is like REAL FLORIDA. No bridges, no overdevelopment.

Are you going to go diving inland (Blue Springs, Homasassa, Crystal River...) more like manatee diving or reef diving?

Alright this is a bummer---they just changed all the cruises up to ours in April to CM. I guess I better do a little reading on CM. Any suggestions from you blabbermouths? (I don't mean that derogatorily----you May cruisers) Somehow I am not too confident that ours will be the first one back.

Hey Garry, from what I saw on tv earlier it looks like they do!! I know we do. It was coming down pretty heavy earlier today outside my windows.

I am just not motivated to do much today. My head is poinding (migraine) and I didn't sleep well so I am just being a veg today. Oh well.

We're gettin clobbered with snow right now. They are say 18-22". Finally!!!

Judy we have that "Dinner Thing" here too, but it's called something else....can't recall the name right now.. Twice my freinds have planned it for a "girls' night out". Unfortunately, both times I couldn't make it. Maybe this time I'll do the planning so I can pick a date. Everybody likes it and the food is great although a little expensive.

So Judy, are you saying that they are cancelling your cruise and turing it into a CM cruise? If so, that IS a bummer. I know a lot of "blabbermouths" were also on the '04-10 day. Are you think of switching over to that one? Fun, Fun, Fun.

I was catching up on things on the boards and was reading about the Med cruise. How cool would it be to do a back to back on that run. 11 days on the Med then the Repo. DH played the 250 million lottery this weekend and if he won, ummm, I mean if WE won, we're there .

No they are not cancelling our cruise. They are still not docking at Cozumel and have already changed the Mar25th cruise over to Costa Maya. Since they alternate east then west, our April 8th western is the very next western to go so I am not hopeful that we will be back to Cozumel either. (Sorry that CM looked like cast member rather than Costa Maya)

No--I wish we could go to the blabbermouth cruise but I have kids in a brand new fast paced school. Their finals and reviews will be that week. We don't get out until June 3. I need Costa Maya advice from them ----Stace, Mary.....I have not even entertained the notion of what excursions are there. We usually do the beach break in CZ anyway and I am sure we can find a beach break sort of thing. Honestly it does not matter to me ----hand me a margarita or two and it will all look the same.

The Lets Eat meals here run about $20 for a meal that feeds 4-6. Much less than eating out here in Orlando. What a genius to help us multitasking moms. I truly wish I had such an enterpreneurial spirit. Just not so lucky.

Guess you guys don't want to hear about Florida resident rates---- they emailed me this week that I was getting back almost $3000 from our 2 cabins in April because they just released FRR. More bingo money.

Well, I guess I got that all wrong I thought I had read somewhere that they are having a CM (cast member) cruise..sort of a training thing.

Congrats on all the savings on your April trip. When in April are you going?

Sorry you East coasters.....we're havin' a heat wave...a tropical heat wave. It isn't suprising the temerature's rising. It certainly can a can can. Freiking 91 when we got out of church this morning. Now all we need is one of those idiot firebugs to play with matches. I'm thinking of all you guys today.

My mom just returned from two weeks in Cozumel January 27. She said that their hotel was the only one open for in a six block area. And only 20 some rooms were available. They stayed at Playa Azul. Any way she said they were still working on the shops and beaches at a feverant pace to get it ready for the ships again. But the hurricane really did alot of damage. Their hotel did not even partically reopen until Jan 2. They arrived 9th.
