Happy Birthday Little GoofyFD. :thumbsup2

DD tells me that today is PI day. Why? I'm glad you asked, it's because it's 3-14. Get it... 3.14! :rotfl2: If you want to take it further Pi minute is at 1:57.

So, when she gets to geometry class she won't forget!

Patsy,
I'll have to tell my DS13 that. At the beginning of the school year he was memorizing digits of Pi. He got to something like 150, the school record is 200. He drove us nuts for three months, constantly reciting it, he would even write it on the church bulletins during the service. What a goofy kid. I can't believe he let it slip by without noticing. Then agian, maybe I won't tell him, it might re-kindle his interest. ;)

Hope everyone has a good night!!

But how many loads of wash is that?? :confused3 We were wondering.
I felt like that today.......I really never thought we had so many clothes... :rotfl2: washer dryer...washer dryer.....wash dryer......ahahahahaha

Tonight I'm printing CM appreciation cards for the band kids to take to DL. I didn't realize when I volunteered to do this tonight how many I would need to print. They print 8 to a page and there are 77 kids going....so in order for them each to have just a couple to hand out I am printing, and printing and printing.....I need to get to bed! :surfweb:

HELP!!! DS is trying to do his math homework. He needs to ask 10 people if they like cats or dogs better so that he can graph the answers. THANK YOU!

I love all animals, but am especially partial to cats :cat:

I have 2 now and have had many many many over my lifetime (or should I say I have been owned by many). One is sitting behind me on my chair as I type.

Mew mew mew.

"with dogs, you own them. with cats, you're just staff."

Stacie - have fun in NYC. That is a great show! We saw it a few years ago. We love the city. Are you taking a bus up or driving? I was in love with the warm weather on Monday and now it is so cold and windy :sad2: I am dying for spring weather. Being trapped in the house with two little kids and two big dogs is starting to get old!!!

Klineyqueen aka Brandi--

Your'e city and my city are two different cities. My "city" is the big whopping metropolis of Des Moines. Not really much of a city but I'm finally to the point I can drive about anywhere there and know where I am and I can get between all the malls without the freeway (major construction). :rotfl: Out of all the places I've been, the NE and the SW are not among them. When I was 10 or 11 we went to Hershey, PA as part of a vacation one year.

Hopefully it will be spring soon and you can take the little ones out. The library is always a good place to go too, although I always hated it when DD would scream and shriek the whole time and the librarian would shoot me those death looks.

Have a good day!

We are off to Colorado Springs for the New Life Church small group today. Could I ask you guys for prayers? Thanks Mark

In Egypt cats were worshiped as gods...
They have never forgotten.

Yipes! I can't even remember my phone number!

I wont be around tonight guys. Too many people have ticked me off today. :( I don't want to snap at anyone. Too bad the kids aren't ready to go to bed yet. ;)

We have decided not to take our laptop with us to DL, so we will not be on the boards until Sunday evening. :wave2: Hope everyone has a fun weekend, I know we will and so will Brack! :woohoo:

Hopefully not here on the boards - cause we love you Lisa!! :grouphug: :grouphug:

Staci I was just laughing :rotfl2: when I read your response! When I think show and city I automatically think NYC. That is only about 1.5 - 2 hours away from where I live. We often take the bus because that is cheaper then finding and paying for parking! Anyway enjoy your show.

I hope everyone has fun in DL.

Did any of you ever have a bad experience with the kids clubs? I was just reading a trip report thread and there were some very negative comments from one person. I have often read lots of good stuff I was just wondering if any of you had a bad experience. My son will be starting preschool in the fall and that will be his first time away from us. He is always with my husband or I or one of our parents. I am even his Sunday School teacher, he leads a bit of a sheltered life......

I am hoping that preschool will get him ready for the club. I just don't want him to be beat up on.

Lisa G--hope your having a better day today. Sending some happy thoughts your way!!

Brandi--I read the same trip report you must of, I've been reading the boards for a few months now and have never heard anyone talk about the kid's club like that. Your son will do just fine in preschool, it will be fun to see him in a different environment. There is nothing wrong with having a "sheltered" life. Your kids are both very lucky to have you home with them. :)

Did anyone see the cruise ship retirement plan on the main forum? It sounds like a great idea to me!

Hi again everyone  . WOW our group has grown since the last time I was on the board. It's me spoiledbrats3 (we are with MrsMork & DrHug's gang :grouphug: ). While catching up and the DIS you all have passed out MANY GREAT ideas. Thank you all. My sons jump rope for heart (which I get to be chairperson for) is almost here, after that I will be able to keep up with all the fun you guys have been having.
