Morning everyone. I awoke to the sound of sleet this AM. Yuck. So I got up, got dressed and then turned on the TV hoping that the schools would be delayed. But no! Looks like the sleet turned to rain and now it is pretty much miserable. That's okay. I have "playground duty" at school today. That's where you stand there and become a human target for all those footballs and dodge balls and kick balls. It's lots of fun. But to be honest, I'm glad we're gonna be inside today because I'm sooooooo sleepy!!

Take care everyone!!

Hugs for a Monday!! :grouphug: :grouphug:

Morning all, Happy Birthday Dina!

I am sleepy today, I had to stay up and watch Desperate Housewives and Grey's Anatomy.....

Monday's - personally I think they should be outlawed.

Wasn't that so good?!?!?! :) I have skipped Grey's to watch the last shows of Missing on LT.

Good luck with the jury duty, Jordan. I've been called several times but never had to sit on a jury. Just hung out and read books and magazines.

Have *fun* at jury duty Jordan. I've been called every year but not had to serve because I have no one to watch my 3 year old. Now our court has day care, which I am not be thrilled about just because they may have screened the people who watch the kids, but I sure haven't, so I'm not comfortable with it. He's still not fully potty trained, so I'm able to avoid it until he is.

Good luck!

Hey all--
It's a cloudy Monday morning here. Temps will be in the mid 30s. I'm being lazy today, nothing to do but go to the post office and send off all the bills  and dream about Disney.

WOW! You are lucky that they consider that legitimate to get out of jury duty. It's not like that here. I was called every year that I was away at school in VA so I didn't have to go in. I was also called while I was living in NO since I didn't drive a car so didn't change my DL there. My lease cleared that up.

Yes, they consider it a hardship if you're a stay at home mom. The theory is where will the child go if you are the primary provider and you get called to say, a month long trial. But as I said before, my time is running out. Actually, I have no problems serving and I'll be happy to do it when my kids both in school. I do recongize it as an important civic responsibility, I'm just not comfortable using their day care.

Lisa,
Can you link our group with the early seating? We will have 8 people all together. Our friends are not on the Dis. but they are sitting with us, so just add them with us. What info do you need?

Mark, Lisa will have to PM you her ressie number and then you'll either have to call DCL or your TA (depending how you booked) and have them link your ressie to hers. I did it earlier and it was a piece of cake!

good evening folks. just popping in for a quick hi before i eat dinner. I didn't get called for duty, so I did my civic duty for this year. A good friend from church was in the jury pool so we hung out together. It definitely made the time go faster.
