WHEW! I just placed the order for the kid's egg hunts at school. 80 dozen eggs for the Kindergarteners & 75 dozen for the first graders....plus the goodies to go inside. I already have the rainbow chip cookies for the parties, the goodie bags, & the plates, & napkins. Now I just need to get the juice boxes & some pretzles & we will be good to go! :) Oh, I also have to find some sucker...I mean convince some nice person...to dress up as the EB to make an appearance at the egg huns.

Lisa - I'm a sucker for those kinds of thing. Too bad we dont live close or I'd do it!! I've done it many times before and for how many times I've rented that costume, I might as well own it!!

That's one thing I don't have to worry about. One of the teachers owns one. :)

I just thought I'd say hi, and tell you about the match on sat. Spencer lost his first round by two points, then he pinned the next one, then he got a bye becouse the kid got hurt the round before and went home, and then pinned his next kid and ended up with a 3rd place medal. Wyatt got pinned his first round then he pinned his next two kids and then had to wrestle his best friend for 3rd or fourth 4th. He lost by points, but never gave up and didn't get pinned, so I think he did great and ended up at fourth place. I can't wait for this saterday. I hope I fianally get his pic to show up this time. Well I gotta get to Spencers school. I'm just about done watching the new Harry Potter.

I can just see it now - go into the office and say, "I own a bunny costume".
For some odd reason - the way my mind works - I thought of another kind of "bunny costume".....a friend of mine also owns a "bunny costume"....but she used to work at a club where they wore "bunny" costumes, if ya know what I mean. Around our office, we'd all assume it was a playboy bunny costume since we all know this lady who was a "bunny" during her life.

:cool1: :yay: :bounce:  :cheer2: :Pinkbounc Thanks Lisa. Do I do it the same way to add then in here where I am typing right now, well I'll try it.

So what do you guys think - I want to order my t shirts so I can start making cruise t shirts. The problem is - in the past I've made them for me and my kids. DH doesn't get into that kind of stuff.

This cruise, we're going with friends of ours....and friends of theirs whom I've never met before.

Do ya think I should make t shirts for all 6 kids (3 families...2 each) or should I try to do the adults....even though i'm not sure they would like and/or wear them.

Opinions please.

oh - and I would somehow have to ask my friends what size t shirts these other people wear without letting them know what I was doing.

okay, now I'm ready for the opinions...

I did it, Great now I'll have to upload some of wyatt and Don and I. Thanks again Lisa. I found out about pick your own lego bricks and learning how to post pict. all in a few days, what a life. :rotfl2:

I would make them for the kids, as you know they would feel left out. Not sure about the adults thoe. Did we decide on the logo? Where can I find it. Not sure if I could do it thoe. Just the thought of making one for the door is enough for me, as I don't know anything about graffics eather. better run, see ya.

Karen--I would make shirts for all the kids, don't want them to feel left out. I would probably make them for the adults as well, just in case. Once you have the design it wouldn't be too much trouble to make a couple of extra, and you never know, they might really like them. As far as figuring out the size, can you ask your other friends to see a picture of the people you don't know? I would probably say something like "it would help me to be able to put a face with their names". You'd probably be able to judge from a picture if a large would be big enough or if they need X sizes.

Mum-good job figuring out the picture thing, it is a little tricky. Sounds like wrestling season is underway. I'm glad that swim season is over here. DD is still practicing for regionals but my next two Saturdays are free.

The girl scout cookies came in today. We sorted them out by troop this morning, now to move my troops' to my co-leaders house and sort them by girl. I should have Samoas (carmel, chocolate, coconut) for dessert tonight after church. :teeth:

Dutch Girl Scout- How old is snickers? Our dogs were crazy when we first got married. Now they are just LAZY!!!!

Klineyqueen--Snickers turned a year at the end of October, we got her as a Christmas present. So I guess she's lived with us for a year and a couple months. We are waiting for all her teeth to all grow in. Our vet said that sometimes they are worse when they are 1-2 years old because they are still trying to figure out who the boss is. I agree. My husband and I dated through high school and he got a puppy when we were seniors. Bart (named after Bart Simpson because he was so naughty) is still with us. He turned 15 in December and is just happy when he wakes up each morning. He has dementia, he'll stand at the back door and bark to be let out when he was just outside. We think it's because he has always gotten treats when he comes back in. My DD11 has a cat that's "hers" that is 3. Most days I feel like a zoo keeper, trying to keep Snickers from chasing the cat or chewing on something, and letting Bart in and out. When I get my laptop back (supposed to come today) I'll post pictures of the herd.

Is your DD sleeping more now and getting on a schedule? I sometimes watch "Bringing Home Baby" on TLC and wonder how I could have ever made it through those first couple of months, especially with a toddler and a newborn. My DS was 2y9mos when DD was born. Taking care of two is a whole new game as I'm sure you're finding out.

DrHug & MrsMork - I just bought my DL tickets tonight online at a very good price so I hope to see you next week.

We pull out of Oklahoma City at 5AM Friday to make it to the Grand Canyon that night. I have a lodge room reserved that is a quarter mile from the south rim. We'll get up early for sunrise and spend a few hours touring. Then we'll hit the road for California. I'm sure we'll spend the night somewhere on the road 'cause my DW doesn't have her conference until Sunday afternoon. I plan to be at the park first thing Monday with my camera.

Like the commercial says: "I'm too excited to sleep!"
:cloud9: :grouphug:

Dutch girl scout - thanks for asking about the baby. She sleeps from about 10 pm to 5:30. That I think is great. She goes back to sleep easily by about 6 but my son usually wakes up at 6:30. The crazy part of his early rising is that he would sleep until 8:00 before Eliza was born. :confused3

Our Dogs are 8 and 6. The 8 year old is a yellow lab and he was hyper until about 4 - literally. Over the last year his hips have really started to get stiff. The 6 year old is a shepherd mutt and he was calm by 2.

I hope everyone going to DL has a great trip! Enjoy your fun in the sun. :thumbsup2

Oh my! We were covered in snow this morning! About 6 inches at our house. DD, Sweetpea, drove to the bottom of the hill we live on and parked in the church parking lot, then rode in to work with me. (We both work at the VA Medical Center in Portland). The hill coming out of Newberg on the main highway to Portland was blocked by several big rigs that were in various positions of disarray, so we had to drive up over a mountain on a two lane road to get out of town. Whew! We were slippin' and sliddin'. My mouth was very dry by the time we got over the mountain and down to the highway on the other side of the traffic pileup. DD was very helpful backseat driver though...."Mom, put it in 2nd gear, now in low, ok back to 2nd, watch that truck that is coming the other way!" :rotfl: Luckily it was just snow, not cold enough to freeze underneath and make ice.

Brack, look forward to seeing you. We will be at DL Thursday afternoon. We'll call when we get there and know what the schedule is with the kids.

We have not heard from John or Jordan for awhile. Anyone know if they are ok? :confused3 Maybe just busy, I hope.

John has been in negotiations for the union deal....STILL! We emailed about the 12/1/07 cruise & he said that things have been too crazy for him to get on the boards lately.

DrHug - I opened the Jack Sparrow Costume and it doesn't smell like mildew. It did smell like the plastic bag. The strange part is that I think they sewed it wrong. You can't put your arms in the sleeve holes. It is very strange. Does the white part of the shirt cover your chest? I honestly think they messed up his costume.

We were in seattle once and there was snow, what a mad house. We got snow here all day yesterday, and then it warmed a bit and this morning it was frozen on everything. Very slippery. We went to sandpoint on sunday for a birthday party. Can't wait for this summer to go hang there and go to some concerts. Have a great day.
