It is only 43 here with a wind chill of 35 right now. Plus it is really cloudy and dreary.

I need to return some things to the library but I don't really want to go anywhere today. I need a relaxing "lazy" day.

My kids are mesmerized by some show called The Upside Down Show on Noggin'. I can't quiet figure out what is so great about it but they both sit there and watch quietly. It is kinda nice....

Only 47 days left!!!!

I dreampt about the cruise last night. I dreampt we came up to the terminal and I saw the ship docked there and felt so much joy that I burst out into tears. I woke up sad that it was just a dream.

I dreamed about the cruise last night too, only it was that I forgot my passport and they would not let me on the ship. .

DD's eyes are finally looking much better but I think we are going to continue the dreaded eye drops for a few more days just to make sure it is really all gone.

She did not sleep real well last night and I think she is trying to cut some molars. I was hoping she would take a longer nap because of that but she only slept about 90 minutes.

Sounds like cruise dreams are contagious. I dreamt we were checking in and everyone in the terminal was wearing our lime green shirts. We were the only ones that had shown up and they were just giving us the run of the ship including our choices of staterooms. I knew I was dreaming at that point!

Still a struggle as soon as she sees the bottle. I hate that she thinks we are just hurting her. Thankfully the tears end pretty quickly because we pull out the Purell bottle. She loves to use that sanitizing gel on her hands and that calms her down.

While getting my cruise box together I ran into some Christmas decorations. We usually decorate that first week of December but since we will be busy that week and gone the next I think we are going to try to put it up before Thanksgiving since we will be out of town that whole weekend. That means in one month this will be me:

wow - that's cold. I am sitting around in my swim suit. I actually got fried and was only out for about an hour. I have been multitasking, cleaning, packing, laundry, football........fun stuff!

I need to finish up my christmas shopping soon. I want it all done before we leave so I won't have any last minute stuff to do when we get back. Luckily I already bought the kids their big gifts.

Yep, eye drops are awful. I have to use Restasis eye drops twice a day and I absolutely HATE it, makes my eyes burn and I wish I didn't have to do it. It's hard enough being an adult that knows I have to use them but if I were a kid someone would have to pin me down too to get the drops in.

I'm done doing the "car thing" for the weekend. DD and I just came back from the Acura dealer where we went to test drive the RDX. Let me tell you I left there Before I rant I will say that we've been to the Mazda, Honda and Lexus dealers and this has never occurred so perhaps that is what got me - I wasn't prepared for it.

It takes a lot to make me personally really angry. Typically if someone is mean to another that will get me in protection mode of them but to make me livid about something done to me specifically...I have a long fuse. One thing that is guaranteed to tick me off is disrespect and add bad service. Oh Boy! It is a HUGE pet peeve of mine especially in a place where they are looking to take a significant amount of my dollars. I'm not about "treat you like crap you are lucky to be here" service.

I went into the Acura dealership with DD and we are walking around - no greeting etc. That is ok - I don't like hovering. So we walk around the showroom. Now mind you a guy came in after us and the receptionst went over to help. Still okay - so after 5 minutes I approach her about the MDX because the one in the show room has a big SOLD sign displayed. She said we could go see the interior of that RDX. I said are you sure (because frankly if I bought a car I wouldn't want anyone else sitting in it). So fine we go over to the car - doors locked. Okay - walk back over to the receptionist to inform her the car is locked and she says "Oh yeah, they do that sometimes when the car is locked" I'll see if I can get someone to help you.

One sales guy (he looked liked Rod Steiger playing the man in the movie In the Heat of the Night without the stogie) comes by her and she says "Excuse me, Rod Steiger look alike guy" do you have time to.." He looks over at me and actually makes eye contact and says "No" turns his back and moves on. I'm shocked. Not because he could have been busy but that he was so rude. He went back and sat at his desk. Then she asked another guy - same thing.

She then approaches some other guy who asks what I am interested in - I tell him and he says the RDX' are out back and FINALLY a quasi apology "Some of the sales reps are busy and if you would like to go out back someone would be with you in 10 minutes" 20 minutes later we walk back into the main show room and I see a couple getting out of their car walking in front of us walk into the showroom and approach the same receptionist and I hear the guy say "We were just driving by and decided to stop and check out the new RDX" She immediately walked them over to a sales person.

At that point I was furious.

If my daughter had not been with me I would have firmly (hopefully) politely given them a piece of my mind. I was I think so flabbegasted I stood there and the whole thing was probably the most inconceivable thing I have never ever had happen to me. I stood there shocked.

Walking out the showroom, I called DH on my cell and said "Where is another Acura dealer? You will never in a million years believe the most rude, ignorant service I have just received.

The thing that stinks is there are not a lot of Acura dealers around here. There are 4 I think. I looked on line and saw one in Nashua NH. I would go there before I walk into that showroom again. If I loved the car I would never purchase it from them.
