It has been a very quiet weekend here. Went by way to fast though. I think I get a 4 day weekend next week. The 9th is a federal holiday, I think. :thumbsup2

Of course I am around ...but I may actually miss the 30k mark ...we will see

Well, I will have to keep up the senseless chatter to get to that milestone tonight I guess. :surfweb:

This is not good for the emotions. :( They make us crack up laughing at the end of one show & start the next one making us want to cry. :(

April, what brand of detergent will you use - is Dreft still the detergent of choice? Do you use Advent products last time. What is your diaper choice - cloth, disposible. Pampers/Hugggies.
I personally  Dreft!!!!!

I think it is Columbus Day and only the feds recognize it. DGS has to go to school, then gets a 5 day weekend the next one. Conferences on Wed and Thurs.

I read only fantacy, I have cirtain authors that I keep up with, by the time I catch up, they have more.

Fantasy - but who's checking spelling?

Anyway Aaron, I read fantasy too, and am behind on several series. On Jordan's "Wheel of Time" series, I have every book, and am behind by about three books - I fell so far behind I think I need to go back to the beginning!

Same with Terry Brooks - I got through the first and second Shanara trilogies, but while I have the new books, haven't read them yet.

I also have the new book that revived the Stephen R. Donaldson series, and haven't read that one yet.

I used to have so much more time for reading . . . My appetite for books is greater than my ability to digest the books I have!

I also missed my year but fortunately that was the last page I recalled when I shut down last night so that was pretty cool. Next it will be the year you were married, the year your spouse was born, the month and date of some significant event and so on and so on. It will never end.
I missed my birth year...I was 1976...I will try for my married year.

DGS's not a girlfriend Sam wants DrHug to do her senior portraits on that long weekend. Will probably have to be Friday because it is NOT a 5 day weekend for him.

We have a couple of the Terry Brooks Shanara series autographed. We have a thing about getting books signed. :)

I used to clip coupons and rarely brought them. Then I had twins and any chance of that went out the window. Hubby asks me what I pay for this and that and I say I have no idea - he gives me funny looks - but when I need milk I just put it in the cart and pay for it. I always found most coupons were for packaged and prepared foods that I just don't buy anyway or they want you to buy 3 of them and who has the room?

We live 15 minutes from the grocery or 30 minutes from Walmart/Sam's club and more grocery choices. I just don't have an hour just to drive to get groceries must less shop and wait in line to pay. So I go to the closest place and pay more. We do go to Sam's once a month or so and get a few bulk items.

I do have Upromise - the kids are getting rich on that ;)

Our school district has a holiday tomorrow (and had a half day this past Friday for teacher in-service). Tomorrow is Yom Kippur and a lot of districts in the Philly area have off for the Jewish high holidays. No holiday next week for Columbus day.
