I was like a maniac at the first stop we made after the cruise running in to the gas station to get my fix! Boy did that first one tastes good.... ;)

How serious are we addicted? I have Diet Coke for breakfast. Sick, I know.

I think we have several cruise-over-achievers here (myself included).

We need a Deck 4 lounge chair mini-meet, complete with our Cove Cafe coffees (or Conch Coolers or Drink-of-the-day)!

P.S. MMcCarthy -- Let me apologize in advance for the OSU joke. Just saw you're from Ohio. I'm originally from one of those "I" states. OSU always beat us at Homecoming. The scars are still there. :lmao:
I really am not at all an OSU fan. Cincinnati bearcats are my team.

Wow! I just came across the post with the gigantic dancing banana! Reminds me of that scary old guy in the Six Flags commercials this past summer!
THAT'S the one that did Kim in!

I can't believe DD is still asleep she must have been really tired. She has been sleeping for over 2 hours now. Of course DH has been asleep on the couch the same length of time as well. ;)
ahhhh...how nice for you! :Pinkbounc

we are having a wonderful fall day. low to mid 60s. the only problem is the bees right now. we have soccer in just a little while and the fields seem to be full of them. after being stung seven times a couple weeks ago, I am a little paranoid about bees.

When Matthew (oldest DS) was about 5, he opened a gate handle at a school playground area and out came a ton of bees. They'd been nestled inside the latch area. Stung him in his ears of all places. That's when we found out he wasn't (thank God!) allergic to bees!

I would be in Diet Coke withdrawal if I couldn't have my fix on the ship. Therefore, in understanding of your predicament (no Nassau stop), I volunteer to bring at least one 20 oz. bottle of Caffeine Free Diet Pepsi on board for you!
thank you I might actually take you up on your offer. I am going to see if anyone is doing a grocery shop on the way to the cruise and could pick me up some diet pepsi and smirnoff ice. It is the only thing I drink other than water and milk. diet coke just doesn't taste right to me.

Speaking of Kim and bananas I bet Lisa's people could put a note on Kim's reservations that tell the concerige how much she LOVES bananas. :rolleyes1
ya - they'd make sure to have bananas in her room all day, every day!!! hahahahahahahah :rotfl2:  :lmao:

Maybe we shouldn't rag on Kim when she's not around to defend herself!! LOL

WE LOVE YOU KIM!!!!

Count your blessings! :)

I remember those years. We laugh now at how c-a-r-e-f-u-l we were to tiptoe around Matthew when he was sleeping. With Carson, we could've had a marching band in his bedroom and he wouldn't stir!
My oldest could sleep through anything!
I used to swear that the youngest was awakened by the slightest change in air currents and wouldn't even walk past his room for fear of waking him up!!

well only could stop in for a minute but at least I am staying caught up. love the smilies Becka--where do you find all of them. we are off to soccer and after that DH wants to go out for dinner before coming back and painting the trim in the hallway. tomorrow we are going to have a door painting party and paint the hallway walls. everyone have a wonderful saturday. I hope the mini meet goes well, I am very jealous.

last cruise we found a little shop at Nasua that had diet pepsi. I ended up getting three 20oz bottles for my fix. Now I will have an even worse time. I was on steriods earlier this year and ever since then I have not been able to stand much caffeine so I am a diet pepsi caffeine free person.
you may have to bring yours onboard for sure!

Hey- BYOB - Bring Yours OnBoard!! :lmao:

Consider it done. It's the least a fellow soda-addict can do! :thumbsup2

I know how you feel!
I got stung by a yellow jacket in august - it was red, swollen, and sore on my arm for a week - and even know I can feel the bump area!

had to post one more time. our oldest never woke up for any noise. It wasn't until 2nd grade that we found out she has profound to severe hearing loss in both ears. we thought she was a deep sleeper and thought her speech was just developmentally delayed. she made do by learning to read lips a little and asking for help a lot. she now wears hearing aides to school but take a vacation from them during vacations. she does well enough without them but really misses them when she doesn't have them for school work.

our second could fall asleep anywhere anytime. we were at church when he was five. he had broken his elebow the afternoon before and they gave him some pain meds with codeine because it could not be set. I was holding him when he started snoring sooooo loud. the reverend even said something. I talked with him after church and aplogized and explained what happened and he said god was just letting him catch up on some much needed sleep. he also fell asleep during him first communion mass. we have a picture of him. he says he was just resting his eyes.
