I was just over in another window doing some research for a possible 10th anniversary trip for DH and I next May.

Yea! Someone to play with! :yay:

Shall we bore everyone else and talk about midwestern stuff?! :lmao:

My DD will probably wake up from her nap in the next 15-20 minutes so I don't know how long I can play. :)

DH just grilled steaks for lunch. Yum! We don't usually have our big meal at lunch but it sometimes a nice change of pace. We had the steak, veggies and some fruit salad. Everyone ate really well but I managed to control my portions so I am still being good this week. I don't know how my scale matches up to the official WW scale but as of this morning I think I am down around 4-5 more pounds. :yay:
That's awesome!!! :cheer2:
We had our big meal at lunch today too!!
We are skipping our football game because it is still raining here after 30 hrs!!

Midwestern joke:

What can't they let the Ohio State cheerleaders on the football field?

They're afraid they'll graze on the grass.

Hi Diana!

It's been raining here since last night! And cold! Brrrrrrr!

We are in the high 70s/low 80s this weekend which is just too hot for October IMHO. It looks like starting next week we will be back to more fall weather high 50s/low-mid 60s which is where I like it. :)

Most of my family is in Illinois. They said it was downright HOT there the past week.....in the 90's! :confused3

We were 95/96 degrees this past week. At least low 80s is a little more reasonable. I actually was glad I had procrastinated about putting the summer clothes away because we needed them this past week.

Yes. We are very near White Marsh Mall. Our house is just off of HWY 1.

Such a small world. We cruise right by there when oldest DS goes to the summer Ripken Baseball camps.

it's only in the high 40's here today - had to break down and turn on the gas fireplace!

NOBODY TELL HER. THERE ARE NO BANANAS. I DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT. I prefer dancing vegetables myself, but no pickles.

O.K. -- come clean. In a PM if you must.

anything good in chat last night? i ended up missing again!

I think we had around 12 people there so a pretty decent turnout. Nothing earth shattering was revealed...it was just your standard chat I guess.

Those of you who have had to deal with I-95 between DC and Philly will appreciate this. My DSis left Alexandria, VA, at 3:30 this afternoon. By 6pm they had gotten as far as the tunnel in Baltimore. It's about 7:30 now and she's not here; if traffic stays clear, they'll get here (Philly suburbs) about 8:15. (For those who have not had the pleasure of this drive, in perfect conditions with a lead foot, you can make it in about 2:45 door to door.)

Yuk! Friday afternoon in the rain on I-95 between D.C. and Philly.....not fun, not fun at all.

Hope they made it o.k. -- traffic was a nightmare last night!
