Want company?! :lmao:

You know how Becka is the anti-crafter? I would be the anti-cooker. I kid not.
and yet another thing we have in common!! :thumbsup2
that is why I emphasized the yes I'm gonna cook it! HAHA
When I do cook, we eat the leftovers til it's gone so I don't have to cook everyday. And we order delivey waaayyyy too much! But hey, one delivery of chinese food will last 3-4 meals if I play my rice right!! :lmao:

Amen, sister! Been there, done that, 'aint doing it no more! :sad2:

we have serious time zone issues with the dinner times, so DD AND DH are never hungry at the early time. Because they only care about food to stay alive, they will not 1. Wait in line for food, 2. Eat earlier because they will not be able to later, 3. Waste time eating when they could be doing something else.

It provides a real challenge for thier food obsessed wife/mother.

DH just grilled steaks for lunch. Yum! We don't usually have our big meal at lunch but it sometimes a nice change of pace. We had the steak, veggies and some fruit salad. Everyone ate really well but I managed to control my portions so I am still being good this week. I don't know how my scale matches up to the official WW scale but as of this morning I think I am down around 4-5 more pounds. :yay:

Wow Becka, that is awesome!!

Oh good God - that is the funniest thing I've seen in a while!! :rotfl2: :happytv: :rotfl: :lmao:

However, the warning should be at least proportional in size to the thing that we are being warned of!!! :lmao:

I think it is time for a Diet Pepsi.

I wonder if I can convince DS to go get it for me? :scratchin

It's just not the same if it is not fountain. I have been contemplating bringing my 100 oz mug, but it embarasses DD and DH so probably just the 64. Love diet coke.

DrHug and I found out last night that we are invited to a "dessert party" at DGS's "not a girlfriend, best friend" Sam's (Samantha) house today at 4. Sam has decided she wants to be a pastry chef, has been accepted at the Culinary Institute in Portland for next year (she is a senior this year), and wants "grandma" and "grandpa" to come to her party today. Yum! DGS has another BD party he will be at, but Sam said that's fine, she still wants GM & GP to come. :) She is a sweetie.

that is so sweet!! have fun!

I hear ya! If a bunch of our kids all make fast friends on this cruise, maybe they'll enjoy dinner more eating together? :confused3

A mother can always dream, huh?

BTW I did send her a PM but it might be too late. Does anyone know how to dial 911 for someone in Utah?

Kim - sounds like our family! DH will NOT stop to eat lunch/dinner if he's in the middle of a project. I on the other had will not start a project if it's going to interfere with a meal!! :lmao:

Hooray! Another Diet Coke kindred spirit! I have my own insulated mug I bring with me. My DH has given up all hope.

Well if you guys would stop quoting them! :sad2: Now we have to warn her about page 2190 as well!
