By the time we sail again DD should be over 3 and hopefully potty trained as well so it will not be as big of a deal but I am sure the kids will still enjoy it. I just kind of wished it would be available now because I don't think DD is going to like just staying in the ear.

My wonderful fiances name is Paul......Paul & Jodie....And we just picked out our childrens names too, oh, we dont have any yet!!!! Savanna, Carolina, and Chase....Our dogs name is Chase, still living, and we love that name for a boy. So, we figured when the child got older and when we get in fights, we can tell him he was named after the dog

Thank you, Jodie! We really needed his name because it will be hard to convince his relatives we are 160 of your closest friends if we don't even know the groom's name. And hey, knowing the names of prospective babies will be even better!

It's a little late but i'd think twice about my doctor with a response like that....

There's no way i would risk giving birth at home, in my car, or maybe worse in a store or somewhere else. What is the doctor thinking?

My first two were under an hour labor, no pushing required! I chose the doc and hospital for the third based on drive time...20 min. in bad traffic. However, I can say that I have witnessed induced labor births several times over the last few years (ALL the Oregon docs induce EVERYONE for timing convenience is my only guess why) and those young women go through MANY hours of hard labor. Having easy births, I would way rather have DrHug deliver at home, or in the car (almost happened with our second - doc said 5 minutes made the difference and he ran 2 red lights on the way) than go thru what I saw DIL go through.

I must be the only person on the planet with great experiences with induced labors. Both DDs were induced (first one the doc agreed to do it on the due date because DH had to go to San francisco the next week; second DD was a week late). It was reasonable labor both times, and the anesthesiologist was there and ready to serve. For DS (my third child) it was Sunday evening of Labor Day weekend, a week before his due date. It took forever to get the anesthesiologist in, and deal with the paperwork, switching rooms, and so on while in pain!!

Mum, on the tickle me elmos...

My oldest DD was 3 when the first TME craze happened, and we never got into the hype. Somehow she survived without one (when it seemed like EVERYONE had one). Now I have DS3 in time for this TMX Elmo, and DD13 said, after seeing the commercial, "If I managed without Tickle Me Elmo, then Walt can survive, too."

My DD loves Elmo but I am not sure I want to spend $40 on one. Then again if I can sell one for $80 then it would be like getting hers free. I still have not gone to the store to see if they have any but they are selling for $$$ over on Ebay.

I love that you already have your children's names picked out! One less fight with your new hubby. I let my DH pick our first name (but I had to okay it) and then I got the real say in our second...but DH was a primary influence.

And on the posts requests.....we do take bribes to keep our posts at a minimum....but kind requests usually don't work for this group. We're on mission...right Brandi and Becka?????

I thought all of the Palo ressies were gone at 90 days after about 10 minutes. Maybe something has opened up but I would try real soon to see if there is any availability at all.

We don't have Palo reservations; we can't make them yet because we're first time cruisers. And since there are no online reservations left (and most of the 90-day people couldn't get them!) we don't have to worry about staying up until 3am!

Don't worry, there are Palo ressies left. I just made mine this week, and though the page showed almost no brunch ressies left, there were dinner ressies available for most nights.

They will also probably open up more ressies later.
