Yes, we will be assembling on Deck 7 on Thursday. ;)

IDEA:

Lisa, if Jodie give us the time (yeah right) we could add her wedding as part of the wine/cheese/fluff tour. (after the wine of course.)

Hey Patsy - how about I make buttons that say "I'm with the Bride" then everyone will think we're just part of the wedding party....ya never know - maybe we can get some free drinks out of this too?!!!

Karen has buttonitis!!!!!! :lmao:

Yup - sounds like you're hooked. Glad to hear the wedding went well and that you enjoyed the spa!!! I'd recommend finding a local spa...that's the ultimate of pampering...it is like a mini vacation and you never had to pack or drive or fly!!! My local one is the Spa at Hershey. While they are known for their chocolate baths...I'd rather eat my chocolate and bathe in a nice country meadow bath!!! If you're ever in the area, you should check them out. They are located in the Hotel Hershey which is also very nice...we often go to their Circular Dining Room for special occassions.

But - happy that ya enjoyed it!
My BF (the bride) and I decided that we will do it for our birthdays every year. (our bd's are less than 2 weeks apart.) Spa at hershey is also my local spa. I actually went there overnight with my DH for a little get away when we only had one kid. We at at the dining room...it was wonderful. I did have one spa treatment. I had the chocolate bath...but it was nothing like the massage and facial. Those treatments are what have me HOOKED!!!!

MICKEYPLAN!!!

I received an email from DCL dining this morning and got a "Great job" from them. We will go with the requested rotations unless they advise me otherwise. If anyone else would like to join the group, I can send the information up until 11/5/06.
That is great news!!!! Lisa...DCL was right on with you doing a "GREAT JOB!"

Karen, Have you done one of those? Is it really chocolate or just mud with an aromatherapie cocoa smell?
When I did it they actually put cocoa in the bath! It was so cool. You can also buy chocolate smelling shower and bath stuff!

You guys are a riot this morning!!! :lmao: I wish I felt better (the cold medicine is not having quite the same effect on me as it is on Karen ;) ) and had more time to join it today.

I was thinking that Jodie could just tell everyone that we are her cousins. She could have a really, really large family. We could all watch the ceremony from Deck 9 at Topsiders and then when they pronounce them man and wife we can cheer, use noisemakers and drop banana shaped confetti on them. Of course then we will need to quickly run downstairs to create our banana archway to lead them to the reception.

Karen – I have been wondering how your button list is doing. How large is the list now? How many buttons do you have for each of us?

Lisa - :yay: for getting all the dining set up. I bet DCL will call you up any day now to offer you a permanent job setting up seating charts for each cruise. Just tell them you only want to be paid in cruises! ;)

I saw they just released the new T.M.X Elmo. It is a new Tickle Me Elmo. DD loves Elmo but I am not sure about the sticker price of $40 for it. That would be a big chunk of our Christmas budget for her for one toy. I mentioned that maybe I should pick up 3-4 and sell them on Ebay. :scratchin Maybe I could make some more spending money for the cruise hawking Tickle Me Elmos. Karen can make me a button that says something like “Sells Elmo to Cruise”! :lmao:

Brandi – It is good to have you back but you know you will have to spill your guts about this wild weekend wedding.

Brandi...did anything happen with the questionable bridesmaid? :confused3
The questionable bridesmade was a disaster! The bride, the other nice bridesmaid and I all think she was out to sabatoge the wedding. She was going out of her way to do evil things! She was miserable the whole weekend. The night before the wedding I stayed with the bride (left my DH alone in the room.) She was so upset because of the other girls behavior. I got up very early on the wedding day and went to confront her. She was supposed to be staying with the bride as well but she decided she didn't want to. She stayed by herself in her camper! When I got to her camper she was crying and "sorry" for her bad bahavior. He behavior still contined to be horrible. The bride ignored her the rest of the day. Her bad behavior continued throught the whole day. It was one thing after another. She wanted to go to a bar between the wedding and reception. The bride of course wanted pictures...you can only imagine. The men as well as the girls in the wedding were appalled by her bahavior.

Honestly, she is so selfish and could not stand that Kim (the bride) was getting so much attention. I hope I never have to see this girl again. I know she put a huge cut into her friendship with the bride.

So Brandi - you know first hand...is it scented mud or real chocolate?

OK, while we are on the topic of weddings and comfortable shoes....I think that I told you guys about my wedding shoes. :) I thought that the dressmaker would fall over when I stood up on the platform so that she could check the dress. She said that I needed to wear the shoes that I was going to wear for the wedding. I told her that I was. LOL! Our wedding reception was country and I planned to do some dancing. There was no way that I was going to fall on my butt with heels. First here is a picture of me with and my handsome groom showing my elegant dress that was complete with a short train.

Here is one picture showing the rest of it while we were dancing the tush push to JMM's Be My Baby Tonight. :) You can see a little of my shoe there with the low heel.

Now as we got into the song I didn't want to trip on my dress so I hitched it up a bit and sang right along. This gives you a better view of my wedding boots.

Becka - sorry you're not feeling good. I can't say that I'm feeling good. My head is in a fog and I have no idea what I'm saying

As for your button list...start weight lifting my dea...you're gonna be wearing lots of metal...metal pins that is...your list is pretty long...what did ya expect when ya keep GIVING me button sayings!! Yes, I think yours is the longest!!

ok Brandi - we can't have a statement like that with no details............!
It had a full open bar...there was a lot of alcohol...you can only imagine!

After the Thursday night Rehearsal we had dinner then the whole bridal party went to the bar where the bride and groom met. It was awesome! We made the bride wear a veil with " " and we had straws with " ."

Friday was the spa day then a bon fire. That was so much fun. There were about 75 people at the fire.

Then was the big day...at the hairdresser that morning 2 of the groomsmen showed up with a rose for each girl. It was a very sweet thing for them to do. The whole bridal party got along so well and had a great time together...except for the sabator (sp.)

That girl has issues...enough about her.

The bride was BEAUTIFUL! It was a perfect day.
The rain stopped for Saturday but everything was MUDDY!!! The campground was a disaster. That did not damper the day!

The toast went so well. I really appreciate your input!

If the four of you would like to be with the group on the APL rotation at 8 pm, just pm me with the names, room numbers & resie numbers.

for some reason, pictures at my office computer show up as white boxes with red Xs in them....but sometimes if I quote someoen I can see the. Gotta check out these shoes!

great pics Lisa!!

I wore heels....and get this...we got married on the beach, gorgeous sunset, the whole nine yards...well no one thought about heels sinking in the ground...!! I walked myself down the aisle so it was a pretty difficult task staying on my tip toes....especially after the champagne while getting ready!

I only had the chocolate bath and it was real cocoa! I have no idea what the other things are...maybe we should go and find out!!!!

The boots are great! At least you were comfortable. I am going to upload my pics to shutterfly tonight. Then I will be sure to post a few!

I am going to make my kids lunch. I will post some more wedding details later.

YUMMM - I didn't know that about the Disney outlet in Vegas - great news. It's so easy to shop in Vegas because everything is so close together. I smell a trip to Vegas on the horizon.

thanks for letting us know.

elaine

I didn't know about it for the longest time but DH worked near the Belz Factory Outlet last year and one day I drove out there to meet him for lunch and we drove by and saw the big DISNEY CLEARANCE WHEREHOUSE sign so of course I made him pull over and take me shopping. :jumping1:

I've been there quite a few times and get a nice little Disney fix. The store was supposed to only be temporary but like I said I just got an email from them saying they've renovated and are staying permanantly. I'll probably go shopping there this weekend since they also included a 10% coupon for me to use. ;)

For you future Vegas visitors the address is 7860 S. Las Vegas Blvd.
Here's the website... http://www.ams-liquidation.com/stores.htm
