Okay - just jumping in here on page 1442 ! I think my only other post here was on page 2. Anyway - We've downsized our group. No BIL, SIL, DN or DN (who accompanied us on our 2004 Wonder cruise). Just me , DH , DS6 and DS2 . And..... DH upgraded us, so we'll have a verandah again. Whew! Gotta love him! We're so excited, talking about the trip every day, I'm making lists, spreadsheets, etc. We'll be staying at Coronado Springs Thursday and Friday night. Going to MVMCP on Thursday and Sea World on Friday.

DH is on his way home, we are grilling out steaks tonight (yes, we eat steaks a lot) with fresh asparagus, grilled onions and mashed potatoes....I doubt I'll be weighing in tomorrow! I cracked a nice pinot and am treating myself to a glass (hic, bottle)....I'll be good and ready for chat! It's been a heck of a week - we have a new CFO, next month is year end and we are projecting a $26M loss ---- could he be an ax man? I'm a peon so hopefully I am safe, but hey, you never know. At least the cruise is paid for....or is it?

YEA RUB IT IN, NO TIVO IN CANADA!

I will be running on a two VCR system and a mother who will have detailed instructions when to change tapes. I will be praying that the power does not go out, which it does every week or so (just long enough to kill the vcr programming, agh!) The most stressful event during a vacation for me is the vcr set-up, lol.

I also forgot to mention that my suprises arrived in the mail last night and I don't think you guys will be disappointed. My only concern now is having room to pack them. I might have to think about mailing a package to be delivered to our stateroom. Are we doing the gift thing in the terminal? the pre-sail away meet? Are we just putting stuff in the stockings throughout the week? How is this going to work?

Which ever you want to do, Becka. I am planning to give the stockings out in the terminal so that they can go up ASAP for the goodies once we board. You can give things out whenever it works for you. Having something every day would make it fun.

Lisa- I got the email about getting moved to main dining and that you are working on seating places. Are you taking requests? If so I would like to sit by some normal people at dinner for once. KIM!!!! We are watching the farewell show now & at the end Minnie & Mickey came up thru the stage lift with a bunch of that fog stuff. There is also a bunch of it all over the stage while the characters are coming out. I don't think there is a single show that doesn't have it.

The shows are pretty good. DS really enjoyed the Golden Mickeys and that is the one he talks about wanting to see again the most. I thought it was OK. I could personally skip it but I know the kids love it. I missed half of Disney Dreams because I got sick on our last cruise so I really hope to be able to watch it this time.

Welcome Virginiamama! I did the same thing... booked the cruise last December, posted on this thread once or twice and went back to real life. I just jumped back in a few days ago and already I'm obssessed with planning everything about the cruise.

My boys are close to your son's age, they'll be turning 5 and 7 in November.
