Only if it is a family member or very close friend for us.

OK...I have resisted the nap and am getting more done around here. :) Everyone else must be working too.

I wish I could go nap....I can't get rid of the exhaustion! Maybe tonight I can get to bed early.

Goodness! They demote you quickly! It sounds like the aquarium trip has worn off?

My kids wouldn't be giving me the bad mom award. :teeth: They love me no matter what and loved our trip! I'm talking compared to everyone else here. :rotfl:

You mean Kristina???

Believe me - I'm so depressed about my weight that I wouldn't be looking for some little wikiwiki dress or anything else that would yell, "HEY - LOOK AT ALL MY FAT HANGING OUT"

:guilty: Yes, I meant Kristina. :sad2: I think my brain is fried!!!!

Since the smilie was a :rolleyes1 and not a  I'll assume that he doesn't wake you up, if ya know what I mean?! DH has a tendency to say - If he's up, then I will be too

ANYWAY....what does you hubby do? What cauases this? I'm going into non-functional and cranky!!!

OMG! What is wrong with me?!?!?! You guys are capturing my spelling errors left and right!

Usually he wakes up when I am ready to sleep. He zonks on the couch and I try to tiptoe to bed. :lmao:

DH works in the restaurant for 10-12 hours.

:lmao: :rotfl2: Stinks to be me too. 5:15 every workday morning, winter, summer, school, no school! :lmao: :rotfl2: BUT, a year and a half to retirement, so I guess it really doesn't stink to be me! :lmao:

Yeah Caroline....how quickly you forget me......

Actually the dress isn't that bad... Very stretchy cottony material... i was just going to wear the shirt from the set but i the dress i bought for DD is way too big for her and fits me. So the extra one is for her. I saw that you ordered already Tana but maybe they could add it to your order if you call. Please please.

(and Karen you remind me of the nurtisystem ad with the girl who lost 30lbs to be a size 2. :rotfl: I mean i guess she was just such a cow at size 6 or 8  )

Believe me Karen, I've seen worse...much worse...much much worse... you are fine... We can't all be a size 2....

Since I used to be a nutritional specialist for Nutri/Systems I can guarantee you I have seen much much worse. That job just about broke my heart every day. Plus, I had to weigh once a week to make sure I wasn't too fat. Well, It's a good thing I don't work there anymore....

Even though my TA says I'm paid in full, I don't want one of those last minute rate changes to show that I still owe $2 and then I can't make ressies. Should I call the 800 number or ask my TA again?

Did you see my post??? My balance on DU shows a $2 balance. I must call them right after I check it again.

Brandi is gone until the 9th (her birthday). :)

Does anyone have that DCL number that I need to call to get my CC numbers. I don't want to miss out on my 90 day reservations!!! Kim? I know you have it somewhere. ;) Lisa - can you give me the number of your people? :rotfl:

I don't have it. This is my first cruise. Sorry! I do have a number they gave me for shore excursions if you want to try that one....

1-800-939-2784

Good Luck!

cute pix everyone!!
v - I can't find the cord to my crock pot!!

Here's what happened exciting in our lives Monday - My Kendell (the clutzy one!) slipped and fell head first into the sharp side of a split rail fence - gashed his head open 2.5 cm - spent 2 hours (actually not bad) in the ER getting 2 sets of stitches and 'superglue' - it was soooo grooosss - the nurse was more worried about me than him! LOL He was such a brave little trooper - never cried the whole time they were working on him....so I kept him home yesterday...he's doing really well!!

Now, if the new cat would quit crying all night to go out so that I could get some sleep - I'd be doing great! LOL

:grouphug:
Isn't it always the way? Mom is much more upset than the child! :teeth:

hubby just called for the first time from Zanzibar - I will be glad when he gets home so I can sleep. Giona was up at 4 am this morning after I had pulled a Karen and gotten up about 2:30am - 4 was just about when I went back to bed so I feel really sick now - ugh.

Ok, what does your hubby do and why is he always off adverturing?

UGH! I have never planned for a party like this. I have always bought ahead of time & just pulled everything out of the boxes. I have complete party supplies for Monsters Inc, Barbie, and HP. OK I usually stuff the goodie bags but since I am going by full price here how does this sound for the goodie bags?

For the girls....

For the boys...

I also have tropical tattoos and leis in my cart.

To keep it colorful....lime green napkins, hot pink cake plates, tourquoise food plates, and purple forks???

Lisa,

I could not see them. I just got invalid parameter. Sorry!

I am watching last night's BB. I have to say that Howie is scum! :( Very disappointing because I use to root for him.

Tell me about it! He is going to be viewed VERY badly from now on! He and Boogie are both crybabies, but Howie is plain nasty. I had a pit in my stomach watching it, worried something might happen to CG!

As for birthday gifts, I wouldn't send one and I wouldn't expect one either.

Also, I don't do goodie bags anymore. I don't like to get them so I don't give them. It really does depend on the party though. If it is a sleepover, I pick up hairties, small comb or brush, nailpolish type things for them to use.

for those mom's....when you didn't attend a child's party did you send a gift anyway? I think 3 yrs old is early for children's parties....like inviting the entire preschool class but they have been doing this since last year. Sadly...fall is so busy for us and Saturday's are almost impossible for us to attend a party and let alone get a baby sitter for the little one. I am just wondering if I am being rude not sending a gift?

OK, I'm getting the sense of a bit of reverse chauvanism here . . .

Guess who has attended 5 out of the last 6 birthday parties with Sophia because mom works on Saturday? Daddy . . .

I'll forgive you though V . . .

And, BTW, I agree with what our leader Lisa said. No gift unless we attend or it is a close friend.
