12/09/06 Cruise Continued ~ Pirating Bananas DIS Geekorama Part 2 Part 5

Tell me about it! He is going to be viewed VERY badly from now on! He and Boogie are both crybabies, but Howie is plain nasty. I had a pit in my stomach watching it, worried something might happen to CG!

I felt bad for George but he impressed me with how he handled himself.

Last year DD7 did get a few gifts sent into school from kids who couldn't make it to her party. DD7 requested last year that instead of gifts for herself, kids bring in toys for the Christmas toy drive that is named after their friend's father who passed away last year. Of course this wasn't her own idea, but she agreed easily. I had done this for a few years with other DD also. Instead of gifts, kids could give money that was sent to St. Jude Children's Hospital. It actually works out well. DD still got presents from family and most kids brought a smaller gift for her also.

Believe me - I'm so depressed about my weight that I wouldn't be looking for some little wikiwiki dress or anything else that would yell, "HEY - LOOK AT ALL MY FAT HANGING OUT"

Dinner is in the oven and the kids are going thru the torture that is known as homework. DD has already completed her math sheet, read her little book, and is working on writing her spelling words (my assignment since she has to learn the spelling words somehow.) DS is taking forever to write his 16 spelling words 3 times each...I think he has done 6 of them since 3:30. OY!!!! He just told me that he did his math already and he will need to read. I hate pulling teeth but today I have stopped them from watching TV until after all the homework is done. This is the part of school that I absolutely HATE!

I came home early today so I can take my time packing. I told my boss I'm leaving at 12:30 and taking 5 hours of sick leave because I am sick of being here today. She said "I think that is what sick leave is for!"
