I'll just throw out my opinion on medications! Agree they are overprescribed and also agree that we as a society need to keep a closer watch out on our children, especially when it comes to medicating.

We went out to Chevy's for dinner and I am just about to burst (I will spare ya'll the smilie for this one ... ). My parents went back to their hotel about an hour ago and they are heading back to Arkansas around 5 AM.

I think we had a good visit but I have to admit I love not having to feel stressed out with company - even when it is your own family.

Thank you everyone for the warm welcome back! I just caught up on the posts from overnight. So excited about this cruise and getting to meet you all!!

Today we went to the Minnesota State Fair -- the fair is a big deal here, like over 100,000 per day. We rode some rides, ate some fried food (cheese curds -- yum!), went on the giant slide, and looked at the prize winning quilts and scrapbook pages, saw the animals. We saw a baby buffalo and 2 alpacas (sp?), they were neat. So now we are tired out!

Oregon State Fair is on right now also. Ends tomorrow and we didn't go this year. I used to always enter my photographs in the exhibit. Haven't had time this year. I have always had three or four, of six,make the Exhibit. I love the fairs. They used to have horse racing but have discontinued it for some reason. I enjoyed that too. Especially the Quarter Horses. How FUN !!!

Did you find non-smelly lime green duct tape?

What exactly is this duct tape for anyway? Should I be concerned?

It is for our stupid french doors of the master bedroom when the wind blows..... We tape them shut....

Don't know what we are going to do tomorrow.

One of my good friends who lives 2 hours away was supposed to be camping just a few miles from here with her in-laws this weekend. She said she might call and we will see if we can get together. It would be fun to sit around and chat. Her oldest DS is just 10 days older than Nathan and they get along great. Her youngest DS is just 1 day younger than DD. They will both have someone their age to play with.

Did they name it Bonkers because that's where the parents go after spending time there? We're going to Chuck E Cheese tomorrow as a reward for the boys for behaving at bed time while they were sharing a bed last week (we had company and no guest room until we finish the basement and move my home office). Yes, we do resort to bribery around here!!
