Dr. Hug,

While we are on the drug subject. DH takes ambien to sleep and has that eating thing. One time I found him asleep on the floor with powdered sugar all over his mouth and the dog licking it. DH does not eat normally, so this is VERY odd behavior. How is the newest sleeping drug? I can't remember the name but it is not the one that gives you the funny taste in your mouth that one did not work at all...

Are you thinking of Lunesta? DH takes that one when he can't sleep and he says it works really well. He hasn't had any side effects.

It can be used for all kinds of Psych disorders, but I think that it is unwarranted in a lot of situations. Especially when they try to use it in Children. That really does get me angry.

When I was a Hospital Pharmacist I had a little more input with the Physicians about therapy. We could actually talk to them. Out in the community it is rare to be able to talk directly with them in most cases. Sometimes they will call us back on certain things, but they are so busy nowadays that it is hard for them too.

He tried that and said the taste in his mouth was horrible and he couldn't sleep... i guess it is finding the right drug for each person...

Oh that's too much! A pharmacy in Disneyland! Wow, if I ever got a migrane, I could get one of those IV's and then walk right back out...

I've seen several parents who could use an upper after several days at DL.....

Lunesta is very good. Still shoulldn't use it every night. Just for those times when you really need it. Every other night would be okay.

Sorry to miss you. We left it in good condition for you! ;)

We're back. Great trip with DD. Wiggles (sans the yellow shirted one - Sam was the stand in he did a great job), and Johnnie and the Sprites was yesterday. I have a pocket full of stars in my pocket from that show. I left them in the pocket and stuffed the pants in my check-in bag. Imagine if something like metallic stars set off the detector - "Uhm sorry Mr/Miss bacg check person. It's bad enough my carry on bag did end up getting hand checked. I had an unopened peanutbutter but it was in the tube version so confiscated. Oops -

You guys have been busy since Wednesday! I want to hear all about the minimeet

Is anyone still here?

I was typing this loooooong answer when I was 86'd. LOL. I don't remember what it was.

Oh well........................... :badpc:

Do you all have tax on food like we do. We are taxed at 6.4 on everything....

We don't have tax on food or clothing. I didn't think they were allowed to tax food (except for prepared food) because it is a necessity? :confused3

The Dis teaches me so much! :teeth:

Crazy!

Becka - I love the smilies. I think I have a favorite and then I go on to read the next page and there are more. I of course love the Mac one. The gerbil/hamster running in the wheel was me before I left right up until the time we left the airport and I could not get decent wifi.

Also happy birthday!!

Kim, my goodness! Good luck with DD. The one good thing about the posts here are they lead to thoughts on discussion items for DD. John and Amy - incredible re the fat talk by the neighborhood girl. School starts the 5th so we shall see what 1st grade brings. Thus far we've dealt with "girls can't play or like "fill in the blank sport" or "some boys said it was okay to wear boy clothes" aka carpenter shorts when the trend was the short short ones for girls. This summer we dealt with girls rebuffing other girls for various reasons some there is no way I kid would have thought of on her/his own - definitely adult words. That was a real eyeopener! So now I need to be mindful of the size discussion - too big, too little etc. We have had both ends of the spectrum in the family so she has seen both.

Caroline - right oh on 3A on the boards - when we were here posting for reservations it was so - slow.

PJ would Time Machine have worked in the reload situation with your system? Also did I miss a link re kidfonts?

DrHug can you take DH under your wing? Heck I want you both to adopt us. Can you adopt someone if they are not that much younger than you are?

I'm still catching up on reading.

We tax everything I believe except clothing (there is probably something else).

Yep, DH doesn't use it every night, usually just every sunday so that he can sleep well before heading back to work for the week. He's always most restless at the end of the weekend.
