I think once you are up so long....it's hard to fall asleep....

One time before a dis trip, i had to work late to finish up a project, didn't get home until 1am, still had to pack for the trip and last loads of laundry. We had to leave for the airport at 8 am anyway so i ended "up" all night. I then managed to stay awake until 10 or 11 the next night.

BTW...i managed to pass along what i thought was allergies to my DH and to 2 co-workers that i know of.

No, I wasn't sick. I was surprised how awake I was. Now...I did pay for it this morning. I woke up at 6:45 & DD was still asleep. I rolled over to wait for the alarm to go off at 7. When I opened my eyes it was 7:55!!! I jumped up threw on my clothes on the floor, grabbed outfits for the kids, ran downstairs & told them to get dressed right away, threw waffles in the toaster oven, got them to brush their teeth & put on their sneakers, grabbed the waffles & napkins & backpacks & got in the van at 8:05. I dropped them off at 8:12 after waiting in line for a couple cars to unload. WHEW! I had to come home & pack their lunches & dropped those off a little while ago.

has anyone tried printing the DCL's cruise plans summary page? My keeps printing blank with just DCL web on the top line. Very odd....

I am excited for our cruise to get here ~ probably more so than any of the other cruises ~ not just so that we can cruise with the mouse again, but because we will be cruising with all of you! As sappy as this may sound ~ it is true. I am very proud to be a part of this group and I hope that our friendships last far beyond disembarkation on 12/16/06.

YES!! I want to do that - and maybe the video if my DH goes up, too, we can each take one - I can't wait! I just hope that I can get in since I'm a newbie and can't make ressies yet.

and screaming at the kids because, yes, after running around all weekend in bare feet, you DO have to shower/bathe and wash the sweat out of your hair. And kids do have to go to bed even if they're NOT TIRED!

Yes, mine prints as a blank screen too.... (lets just chalk that up as another IBM error)

I am going to just print out the confirmations individually (they print) and maybe do a screen capture and crop and print that.

Amy - is there an actual tub or is it a deep square shower - that works great for the kids at least. I don't want to end up causing a plumbing clog in our cabin though - how is the water strength?

Actual tub with removal shower head. We have never had any trouble with clogs or water pressure.

have you all read some of the other meet threads? I just happened to look a one and they have some hilarious things planned. I think we should make first timers (DCL) wear something funny during sailaway!! The 11 nighters are planning an ice cream contest, grass skirt fraternity, tag game, scotch and cigars...it's amazing what they have come up with. When I retire I want to cruise DCL lots more and make up fun stuff to do!! How great would that be?
