I think we are going to get our passports today (if DrHug ever wakes up!) also. I'm sure he will be wanting stamps on his also. He has one of those National Parks books and gets real excited about a new stamp in it. Silly man, just a kid in a grown old body!

that sounds just like John - he was pretty darn excited about getting stamps....

I am so ready for this day to be over...not leaving until 5 today so still have 4 1/2 hours to go....bummer!!

In addition to getting our passports today, the plan is to paint our bathroom and update the medicine cabinet. Sure we will! We do need to get moving on this stuff though so we can sell this place and RETIRE!!

For anyone wondering why the real estate markets are slowing down...we accept full reponsibility for that. The minute we started talking about selling guess what happened. Oh well, we are very lucky in love though.

I checked this morning and we can get flights to Phoenix for $219 pp on AA today. I may buy those today. I don't know if it will get any lower. Still no price drop on the Phoenix to Orlando leg though. Drat! I'll keep checking on that one I guess.

If we don't get to 15,000 during the day then John1 will swoop in and pirate it while we are off getting kids home, dinner made, baths, etc... Can we really let him do that again!

I have an itchin' to go to Michael's Craft Store tonight....last year I missed out on those large glass ornaments and I want to pick some up as soon as they come out. I figure since it's August they must be out already.

I got the forms for passports completed and printed. Need to run to Walgreens to get photos later today.

I plan to go to Michael's, Target maybe, then home, dinner, bath girls, go for a walk, and lounge on the couch with Charming the rest of the night.

We'll see how that goes!

LOL! You guys are too much. I spent the morning visiting with a friend while the kids played. DS finished soccer camp today. We went to McD's to celebrate him going all 5 days. I listened to him "not wanting to go" the last 4. Nothing planned for today....just no motivation. I have beef cubes...should put them in the crock pot with something if I am going to use them for dinner I suppose.

Could this day go any S - L - O - W - E - R? My co-worker brought in the new Denzel/Jodie Foster movie that is out on DVD for us to watch. Maybe - if no preseason football is on we can watch that tonight!

I read over on the main boards that it is taking up to the full 6 weeks they tell you it will take to get the passports back. We will see. I have 2 birth certificates for both of us, so even if it takes longer, or they lose the application (I work for the federal government and know how stuff happens!) we will still have a birth certificate to travel with for now. I made sure to get a second birth certificate because when I ordered DrHug's a year ago they said they had no record of his birth. We went in person back in March when we were in CA and finally got it when we were down there in July. Whew! Made me really nervous when the letter came saying they had no record of his birth in Orange County, CA.

We need Becka, Brandi and Caroline. I suppose Brandi and Caroline are doing something silly like taking care of their kids! Becka must actually be working like John1.

I would like something nice and light for dinner....it's pretty muggy here.

Oh - update on the bunny - we decided to let him/her go....and luckily he went to the area we have bordering the pool...and last night we saw two large bunnies out and about in that area so hopefully he was reunited with his family!
