Hi all,
Hope everyone is out having fun on Friday night. Just chilling here after a busy week and came up with a question for you experienced cruisers (but maybe no one else has been in this situation).

Here's the situation: DD13 will be able to check in and out of the Stack, of course. And DH and I can check DD8 and DS3 out of their clubs (DD8 will not get privileges for herself). Cousins ages 7 and 9 will also be on the cruise.
Now, can we give other family members traveling with us (in different cabins) the power to check the kids out? Like, send Aunt J down to grab all the kids while the other adults are getting dressed for dinner. Or, even to ask DD13 to get them?

thanks!

Marielle - The short answer is yes. You can specify who can check out your children, thus friends and other family members can. I also believe that a 13 yr old sibling can also do this. :thumbsup2

Penny - I forgot to tell you how wonderful your newsletter is! It not only looks great, but is so well organized and informative. Thank you thank you for all of your hard work! :goodvibes

Get ready now, Caroline! It is almost time to address those Christmas cards! Yes...I am serious. You don't go on a cruise this time of year with little to no time between when you get home & Christmas without being organized. ;) Then it will be to wrap everything...pack up the summer clothes & stuff the ziplock bags with the kid's outfits.

Christmas cards?? :confused3 ;) We have a large family Christmas party each year so we exchange them there. Plus a few that I mail to friends when I remember. This made me realize that I will be missing the party for the first time this year!! :guilty: Maybe I can talk them into moving it up a week this year?? :rolleyes1 Or maybe I will do the pic cards from the ship! I guess I'll decide in December. :lmao: :lmao:

Thanks, Caroline. Even though we haven't done DCL before, I can easily envision those kinds of situations, and I'd love to be able to have one person grab everyone before dinner, or to do some other activity.

Oh, and hey, my disneyshopping order is getting closer to me (I'm addicted to package tracking updates!) My lime green shirt will be here soon!

That's right! You just need to give them your password to be able to do this.

You know, everyone keeps saying their Dh won't wear their lime green shirt. My DH has NO IDEA what he is in for on this cruise. If I told him about the shirts and the 70 other people wearing them he would shoot me! :rolleyes1 I'm just going to give it to him that morning and tell him its for the embarktion pic. :lmao:

DH has no problem wearing a matching shirt. We do that all the time on the ship & even in WDW. I put the clothes out the night before for everyone & he wears it. My kids don't even give me a hard time about it.

My DH has no problem with it either. He knows if he tries to argue with "Miss OCD" about anything regarding the cruise he'll set off the waterworks, not worth it to him. :rotfl2: :lmao:

Alright! Is Jack Sparrow available for pics onboard and at CC new or have I just been missing this??

I just want to thank everyone for being so friendly, helpful and fun. This trip looks like it is going to be hard to ever top! I truly can't wait to meet each and everyone of you. I have had a rough year with a few things and it has been nice to meet new friends to share things with, especially the excitment of my family's vacation. We really always do things last minute so I wasn't sure how planning something so far out would be for me. I am so glad that I did!! Not only did I save a ton of money by booking early, but I have had a blast getting through these months with all of you. So here is to the next few months until we all come together!!! :grouphug:

Post 1000!

No, I left :lmao: I was there right after you asked and it showed you there, but no response. But it didn't show when you left.
