Anyway I was just wondering sence we are so close to cruise time, If people have figured out how they are getting to the ship. I still havent figured out if we are getting a limo, towncar or what. Anyone else want to share? I still can't decide if I am brave enough to rent a car and let DH drive after the cruise. I should get this all figured out thoe. Not much time left after all. P.M. If you want as by the time I get back on there will be 10 more pages for me to read. Mum
I'll talk with DH and see if he wants to share a van. Happy Limo did a good job for us before.

Angie! Caroline! Karen! Where is everyone??? :)

:rotfl: I have been around, but not posting much. I have been getting way too frustrated with the "server is busy" screen! :furious: ;) I somehow have lost most of my patience since 3rd DD was born! :confused3 :lmao: :lmao: Plus with DH being home I don't get as much "free time" on the computer. He used to NEVER use it, but has found e-bay! :scared1:

Lisa, I will have to ask DH about the tour. Maybe he will want to take the girls? :confused3

I think DD3 will be too young and I could just hang on the ship with her. Plus I am not too fond of long bus rides, especially in an unfamiliar area. I am a bit if a chicken when it comes to these things. When I was in Puerto Rico, I questioned the driver extensively about the area we would be driving through, etc and made sure he was very aware of my fears! In St. Thomas I only got to Meagan's Bay by taking a taxi and only after I told myself there weren't any dents on it so he must be a good driver. Well, driving from one side of ST to the other is quite the experience! He let me sit it the front seat and was very cautious, but when we started going down the other side he kinda floored it and I almost jumped out!! He thought I was kidding!! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: I made sure he would be the one driving us back though! I even talk to the pilots when possible when I fly! Not that that will do any good. ;)

Haven't been on a plane in 4 years, but am willing to go one way next summer back to Egypt to visit DH's family with one stipulation.... we take the Magic home!!! :lmao: :thumbsup2 :goodvibes

But I will have to ask DH. Guess I will have to tell him about the cruise now!! :rolleyes1

I have to agree with Caroline about the "SERVER IS BUSY" That is making me crazy  .

I just found a round trip flight from Allentown for $212 including fees and taxes to Orlando. It was 20 cheaper then Philadelphia (they are usually a bit cheaper). Does 212 a ticket sound like a good rate?

The weather does not look good for today! :sad2: My nephew's HS graduation is today, but it may have to move inside. DD's 6th grade graduation was moved inside on Monday and it was, well, interesting to say the least. Why do some people insist on making spectacles of themselves??? :confused3 There were so many people whooping and hollaring, made much worse since it was inside, that the principal stopped calling names to ask people to please refrain. Well, the very next name she called, more yelling and screaming!! :sad2: Some of the kids looked mortified by their family's behavior! What an example they are setting for the kids.

So we'll see how the rain comes (or doesn't :thumbsup2 ) and if graduation is moved inside. We also have the first softball playoff game tonight at 7:30....

That sounds like a great rate! :thumbsup2 I will be driving ;) , but DH and the kids will more than likely be flying. Last time they got a flight out of Philly for $79 each way, but that was before taxes and fees and it was September.

I think I will book the flight when DH gets home. Allentown is also only 1 hour from home and Philly is a little over 2. AAAAHHHH...I hate making these kind of decisions. I prefer the kind of decisions like one Creme Brulee or two. :rotfl:

Brandi, you got me wondering how much airfire would be... out of Philly looks to be around $250 or so non stop. so I looked on SpiritAir out of AC. It is closer and much easier but usually more. It looked promising, $99 down, then WHAM!!! $259 PP home!! :crazy2:

I could just make them drive with me, but DH in the car for 2 days?? :scratchin

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl:

:rotfl2: It kind of makes you wonder by the racket when some kid's names are called if it is that much of a miracle that they have passed 6th grade, eh? :goodvibes Imagine how much more that will happen at a HS graduation. Sad but true I guess.

We have been hit with the remnants of the tropical storm today too. Sunny then pouring. If we didn't have an appointment this afternoon I wouldn't even set foot outside.

I sound like the crazy aunt everyone passes around after the "Home" won't take her, lol.

I am at SSR the Friday night, and the days before, for now, I have a waitlist in for VWL, but have little hope for that to come through.

Penny

Didn't mean to make you feel that way, Penny! ;) I know that alot of what is talked about by the daily DISers gets missed by those who can only check in now & then. We just want to make sure that you get on the ship! :)

Penny, hang in there on the waitlist. I was waitlisted for 3 studios at OKW 3 years ago and they all came through. We are waitlisted at OKW with a confirmed at VWL, so maybe, just maybe you will get the VWL. ;)

Mrs Mork, hitting my head(didn't you offer to book VWL for me?) agaisnt the table, lol. If I could have booked OKW, I would have done the switch without a second thought. But the switch from SSR to anything else must be the hardest switch, very few want to stay there, but I really wanted to try out VWL for xmas. I would have been happy at SSR any other trip.

Lisa luves me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But honey I am getting on that ship if I have to walk, lol!

What a horrible ending to a miserable day!!!

We had our playoff game tonight. The rain was mostly a drizzle, that part wasn't too bad. The game was supposed to start at 7:30, but the game before ran late so we didn't start until somewhere between 7:45 and 8:00 (depends on who you ask). I am fairly new at this, just started coaching last year. Well, the girls were doing great!! We were ahead until the 4th and this is usually where we lose it. We came back, then lost it again in the 5th. We were now 4 runs down. Well, all of a sudden the umpire says the game is over. :confused3 :confused3 :confused3 I have no idea what is going on. I hear that an inning can not start after 10 pm and it was a minute before. I am not a confrontational person, I walked over to see what was up. Most were saying to finish the game. Both sides were pretty much in agreement. But the ump said no, those are the rules. :sad2: Well, my parents were highly upset. I think one of my assistants thinks it is my fault for not making more of a fuss saying it wouldn't have been that way if it had been the other way around. I searchrd the rule book when I got home and it specifies the inning starts the second the last out is made in the previous inning. So this would have been BEFORE 10pm. I wasn't even aware of the rule (not too much anyway since I have only played one night game previously) and I wasn't paying attention to the time as we were in the middle of a good game. The girls feel quite jyped, but it almost seems fitting for the kind of year we have had. When I look back on it, we really shouldn't have even started the game.

Sorry to ramble. I feel like I somehow have let the kids down. Not it a very good mood...

Well that just stinks! :( They shouldn't schedule games where they could be affected by this rule then. You didn't let those girls down. (((HUGS)))
